Je bezoekt Monkey Home waar je apen fruit kunt voeren. Geniet van een soepele rit naar Moneky Home en geniet van een rit met speciale chauffeurs die Engels spreken. Houd onderweg een oogje in het zeil voor wilde dieren, zoals doodshoofdaapjes. Stop dan en zet onder toezicht van het personeel een bord fruit klaar om de apen naar je toe te laten komen.
Als een van de mooiste visuele attracties van de stad, veel turisten gaan dag na dag, om te genieten van deze prachtige plekken en maak de mooiste foto's.
De toeristische wandeling Doña Blanca is een klein steegje in het centrum van Puerto Plata dat volledig in roze is geschilderd, als eerbetoon aan de oprichter van het eerste hotel in de stad, het Europa hotel.
Del Oro Chocolate Factory, Dominicaanse Republiek staat bekend om hun chocoladeproductie, dus natuurlijk moest ik een Del Oro Chocolate Factory tour doen. De teelt, verwerking en export van rauwe cacao en andere cacaoproducten is een groot deel van hun economie en dat doen ze goed! Veel van hun chocolade vindt zijn weg naar de VS en Europa.
Dit is een prachtig bezoek in het bovenste deel van de stad, waar u een prachtig uitzicht kunt hebben dat we u verzekeren dat u zult waarderen.

Sinds de reservering beginnen we het contact met jullie en we volgens een pick-up en we vestigden ons in voor de aankomst van de schepen om het op te halen, het maakt niet uit waar je gaat zijn in de zone, ook bieden wij pick-up binnen Amber Cove, binnen in Taino Bay en binnen in alle hotels, villa en Arbnb in Puerto Plata.

Very interesting even tho a lot of shop were closed on Sunday. (That was my fault I didn't know). The workers at the monkey sanctuary are very nice and so are the monkeys! The host made sure it was interesting even if a lot of things were closed and made sure we enjoyed our time.

On Sundays without cruise ships, some local businesses choose to close. However, when cruise ships are in port, they usually remain open. Even so, we always do everything we can to complete the tour as fully as possible and make sure our guests have a great experience. I went on my very first cruise with my boyfriend and 11-year-old daughter, and one of the highlights was our stop in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. While the cruise excursions didn't match what | was looking for, I did some research and discovered Aribel and Yeury Puerto Plata Tours. Yeury was an outstanding tour guise, prompt, clear, and friendly. He answered all my emails quickly and provided detailed instructions on where to meet. Our tour included visits to the Monkey Sanctuary, the vibrant Umbrella Street, the colorful Pink Street. and finally, the chocolate factory. Each experience was absolutely incredible. At my request, Yeury even arranged for us to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant at the end of the tour. I highly recommend this tour if you're looking for a personalized and authentic Puerto Plata adventure. It's a half-day tour, so there's plenty of time to relax and return to the cruise. An unforgettable experience for our family!

This tour was so much fun. Yeury was a great driver. He gave lots of information about the area. The time at Monkey Home was fabulous! The monkeys are so light and soft. The people at the sanctuary are very friendly and take great care of the animals. It is evident they love what they do. The photos taken by the staff were so good. It began to rain heavily while in Puerto Plata and he took great care of us, ushering us into a great local eatery to wait out the storm. He made sure each of us were having a good time and asked if we needed anything or wanted anything specific while on the tour. He recommended a local place for lunch for part of the group.. I would highly recommend this tour and Yeury as your driver and guide.

If you are in Puerto Plata, you need to book with this group. They are top notch. This is my second tour with Aribel and Yeury Tours. My guide was Leury and he was excellent. We went to all the beautiful places and even visited a butterfly garden and monkey home. Our guide was so knowledgeable about the area and all the things we did. I highly recommend this tour and when we go back, I'll do it again. Umbrella Street is awesome. I really can't name a favorite.

We found this excursion at the last minute & so thankful we did. Everything was perfect. They picked us up promptly and took us on a great day full of fun. We loved the squirrel monkeys! This is worth the money & time.

I booked this for a group of 17 (all ages). Barney communicated multiple times on where to meet, what to do, etc. The bus was clean and the AC was cold! The guide was informative and friendly and our driver (Frances) was excellent . My kids say the monkey home is at the top of their list for our multiple Trip excursions. I would recommend this company and excursion whole heartedly. It was a great experience and we created many memories !

We booked this trip because of the Monkey Sanctuary. We have taken other guided tours in Puerto Plata in the past so we have seen most of the tourist stops. We were cruising and we docked at Amber Cove. The communication from the tour group was very good and we found our tour operator easily. We were met by Andy our driver for the day. We were the only ones for this trip and we were placed in a practically brand new van. Very nice. We drove to see the Monkeys first, and my wife and myself were both pleased. Rustic setting and we entered in with a couple of other smalls groups. Approx 15 people. The staff ensured everyone had multiple touches with the Monkeys. It was great. The staff were fun and accommodating. Gelsy, Alex, and Chander really made the experience special. At the end of course, there was the obligatory stop for a cigar making tutorial but it wasn’t mandatory. Gift shop at the end as well. Here’s comes my favorite part, we were supposed to go to 1. Chocolate factory and then umbrella street and I believe one other place. I asked if we could skip those places and drive around local and then lunch. Andy graciously called his supervisor and automatically received permission. We ended up driving to a small town where Andy lives and we got to see how the locals live. Church, schools, markets, etc.. We then stopped at a small botanical garden, which was very nice. After that, he drove us to the city of Puerto Plata and took us to a very nice open air restaurant right on the beach. I believe it was called the Over Look. The food was very good and the view was fantastic. While there was a bit of a language barrier, Andy the driver was super gracious and accommodating. Overall, very very good trip.
