- Canyoning Nieuw-Zeeland is een avontuurlijke activiteit die jaarlijks wordt gecontroleerd op veiligheid volgens de hoogste normen. Een deel van onze verantwoordelijkheid is om ervoor te zorgen dat alle deelnemers de risico's van deelname begrijpen voordat ze hun tickets boeken. De tocht is mentaal en fysiek veeleisend en vereist dat de cliënt Nederlandstalig, comfortabel en zelfverzekerd is met het bewegen over oneffen en mogelijk glad terrein, in het water zijn, zwemmen en omgaan met hoogtes.
- Een gemiddeld fitnessniveau is vereist, deelnemers moeten maximaal 2 uur kunnen bewegen, staan, zitten, klimmen in een wetsuit. Het is ter beoordeling van de gidsen om ervoor te zorgen dat alle klanten geschikt en fysiek in staat zijn.
- Klanten moeten fysiek in staat zijn om de activiteit binnen de toegestane tijdsduur te voltooien.

My 10 year old son and I had a great time. Although the water temp was about 7-8 degrees the wetsuits did a great job in keeping us warm. We had a great time sliding down and abseiling over waterfalls. Ross was a great instructor and we would be keen to do it again. We enjoyed a good lunch at Gibbston Tavern afterwards.

Had a great trip with our guide Ross. It was a cool day but the wetsuit and gear kept us comfortably warm. Ross was good at giving instructions and keeping us safe. Highly recommend you give them a try!

One of the best tours I’ve done! Booked last minute and so glad I did. Dom was friendly, professional and had everyone laughing from the start. As the eldest by a few decades, he made sure I felt comfortable without making it a big deal, and I kept pace easily. The tour was fun, exciting and well run. You do need good fitness, flexibility and to be okay being dunked underwater briefly. Sore the next day but completely worth it. The lunch voucher for Erik's Fish & Chips was a great bonus and added to the overall value.

This was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve ever done. The canyon itself is insanely beautiful, and the whole activity is the perfect mix of adventure, adrenaline, and fun. Jumping into crystal-clear water, sliding down natural rock chutes, and abseiling waterfalls felt surreal. The guides were AMAZING – super professional, calm, encouraging, and made me feel safe the entire time, even when I was nervous. They explained everything clearly, checked on everyone constantly, and kept the vibe fun and relaxed. I felt supported but never rushed. All the gear was high quality and warm, which really mattered in the cold water. The group size was perfect too – not crowded, and everyone got enough time to enjoy each section. If you’re in Queenstown and even thinking about canyoning, just do it. You don’t need prior experience, just a bit of courage. I’d 100% do this again.
