Neil & John were very friendly, Neil had a lot of knowledge that he shared & the the trip was fun & a great experience.
Blue Lagoon was fun. I'm not sure what purpose our "guide" served, as she provided minimal information and did not guide. The driver was great. When we went to Eden, the road needed to be driven very slowly due to pot holes. We were told only 30 mins to visit the river area some stairs down. The guide pointed to the stairs and walked halfway down then went up. We did not even realize there was an area up top to obtain tubes. Down at the river, there were zero property attendants. All of the "bridges" were broken or had off limits signs. There was a collared dog that belonged to the property there swimming. He would jump on us and the children in the water. He bit my husband on the calf hard. I was more lightly bit on the arm. He bit and popped two water tubes that were already at the river. We couldn't even enjoy the water for the less than the 30 mins given. We went back up the stairs and told the guide and driver. The driver expressed some concern but the guide and Eden employees were not concerned about it in the least. We had some sanitizer with us to clean the obvious bite mark and thankfully the skin was not completely broken. Another family was there for a few minutes and had to also remove their children from the river area. Eden was beautiful but unsafe and not worth the drive for less than 30 minutes even under ideal conditions. Definitely not worth the risk. Just book a taxi to Blue Lagoon. I was hesitant about going there because it appeared to just be a commercial tourist trap but it was definitely worth it.
Dear MegsF3, Thank you for taking the time to leave your review and share your experience. While we appreciate your feedback, it does appear that most of your concerns relate to your time at Eden on the River rather than the tour itself, particularly regarding the condition of the facilities and the unfortunate incident involving the dog. Following your review, we contacted the management team at Eden on the River and raised your concerns. They advised that the dog involved is not one of their dogs but a stray that has been known to linger around the property with their dogs. They have attempted to chase it away many times but it continues to return. We are sorry to hear that this incident impacted your visit, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. Guest feedback is important to us and helps both us and the tour stops we visit to address issues when they arise. Thank you again for your review A-Team
Cannot fault these guys! They were absolutely INCREDIBLE. friendly, attentive, amazing with our kids, made sure the whole day ran smoothly, I would 100% recommend.
Good communication prior to cruise from Australia Bit of a wait for tour as some guests did not show up Very happy with tour guide and driver Blue lagoon was brilliant so colourful and nice swim and Eden river had a steep staircase but was worth it Would recommend this tour and competitive price
Overall, the tour was fantastic. We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our group of eight adults especially appreciated the atmosphere, organisation, and the opportunity to explore such beautiful locations together. However, we were very disappointed with the delay at the start of the tour. We had to wait over an hour and a half for the final two guests to arrive before departing. This significantly reduced the amount of time we were able to spend at each stop and impacted the overall experience. What made this particularly frustrating was that all other guests arrived on or near time, including a large family group of over 20 people with children, as well as other smaller groups. Given that so many people were able to disembark and arrive as instructed, the extended delay for just two guests felt unreasonable. We understand that delays can happen, but it was disappointing to feel that the rest of the group was penalised for the tardiness of a small number of guests. For future tours, we strongly recommend implementing a clear cut-off time for very late arrivals so that the schedule can be maintained and the experience is not compromised for those who arrive as instructed. Thank you again for an otherwise enjoyable tour, and we hope this feedback is helpful.
Great tour from ship, small group, Frank was friendly and careful driver.
Easy pick up from the cruise ship terminal. Tour bus was clean and tidy, and the guides were friendly and efficient, but maybe a bit more interactive and chatty would have helped. Blue lagoon and Eden were both worth visiting, although an unattended dog at Eden was causing some problems, but no one seemed available to do anything about it (not the tour operators fault) Drop off back at the cruise port was punctual. Overall a good tour, and value for money.
We went with 2 adults 2 children, we were able to sit in bus out of the heat while waiting for some late stragglers coming off the ship. We loved the history shared with us as we drove to Blue lagoon and Eden on the River. Due to a tight time frame of getting back to the boat our driver and tour guide did their best to get us to each destination and duty free shop in due time. We would use Atmosphere tours again. Thankyou again for your care and time guys 😊
The trip with Justin was great. It was lovely to hear about some of the plant life and the people's customs. We weren't able to go for a dip at the first spot because of the heavy rain the night before, but my family and I enjoyed the short walk around. I would definitely recommend old sneakers, as it was quite muddy. We loved the time at the Blue Lagoon, and we all jumped off the ledges into the lovely water on a hot day. We ran short of time and didn't have time to get an ice cream or an icypole from the cafe at the Blue Lagoon. The water is quite deep in most places, so if you cannot tread water, be sure to pack your floaties!
Not so much of a tour but a taxi to destinations. However blue lagoon is lovely as was Eden cascades. I would recommend water shoes for the cascades and the sliding down on an inner tube requires a bit of skill , but is fun. The stairs down are short but steep and there is handrail steps to the water at the bottom of the cascade
