We loved our family day on Major Tom with Ben and the crew so much we came back a few days later with friends to do it all again. Just as fun the second time. Such a relaxing, fun and fish-filled day. The crew make you feel safe and welcome, the snorkelling is incredible and it is a privilege to get to step into a local village in Lelepa
This was the perfect day trip and truly amazing snorkeling experience! There was a ton of time to snorkel or just hangout on the boat, exploring other parts of the area and seeing a great market to support locals was great! There were good food and drinks served as well!

It was a great experience, with beautiful spots and the crew were amazing. But for the amount we spent, would except a bit more… we didn’t actually go very far on the boat, just around the port and a neighbouring island. Probably best for a family or older couple. They took us to a village, which we thought would be more of an immersive experience, but it was really just to buy stuff. The sailing experience was also limited, we thought we could help sail! The boat was also packed. I thought it would be a smaller group or even private. We spent a lot of time cruising around the port which is fine! But maybe expected some more action? It was very enjoyable though and the views were stunning but for 250 each, probably could get a better and more interesting tour.

In terms of the itinerary, we advertise a relaxed day cruise around Havannah Harbour with time for snorkeling, swimming, lunch, and scenic sailing. We also stop at Mama’s Market on Lelepa, which is intended as a chance to support local women and pick up handmade items — it’s not advertised as a cultural immersion or village tour, so we’re sorry if that expectation wasn’t clear on the day. Regarding sailing participation: when conditions and safety allow, our crew are happy to involve guests, and we’ll review your feedback with the team to make sure expectations are communicated clearly onboard. Finally, Major Tom is a shared group tour (not a private charter), and on busy days it can feel lively. For guests looking for a smaller group or a more hands-on sailing experience, we do offer private options that may be a better fit. Highly recommend this well organized boat tour. The owner was a great guy. Staff were fantastic. So awesome to get out into the beautiful Vanuatu sea and have a swim and snorkel. Nice to see the markets on lelepa island too. I would do this again.

Sail boat with high safety standards, great snorkeling locations and friendly staff. It was our favourite activity. Whole day experience, picked up and returned to our resort included, as well as a full lunch and fruit platter afternoon tea. Visited Lelepa Island and the mamas markets where we brought handmade items; all income goes to funding school for the kids. Only had to pay for drinks while aboard. Provided snorkeling gear, pool noodles for swimming as well as a stand up paddle board and floating pontoon while snorkelling.
