Snoeprietbergen: Na 1,5 uur rijden (90 km) bereiken we de plaats. Het prachtige gebied waar de roze-wit gestreepte heuvels liggen. Op de foto's zijn de kleuren van deze bergen zo levendig te vergelijken wat je ziet in werkelijkheid. Vijf vingers berg: Je ziet het gewoon van ver, waar we een korte rem geven. Als je iets ongewoons verwacht, kun je teleurgesteld zijn. In feite is "Beshbarmag Dag" een heilige bedevaartsplaats waar bezoekers komen om zegeningen te ontvangen. Gachrash bos: prachtig gebied om een pauze te geven. Fotostop bij de rivier "Gudialchay" Eagle piek: als we geluk hebben, kunnen we het heldere zicht van vliegende Kaukasische Golden Eagles in de noordelijke Kaukasus lucht observeren. Gebroken brug: passeren van de rivier met SUV auto. Uiteindelijk bereiken we Khinalug rond 14:00-14:30. Hier zal de lokale gastheer - de heer Rahman ons ontmoeten. Een zeer grappige en gastvrije local van Khinalug dorp. Na de lunch maken we een mini-excursie in het dorp. We gaan het Khinalug museum bezoeken

Begin van de tour.
De Candy Cane Mountains in Azerbeidzjan zijn kleurrijke, gestreepte heuvels die op zuurstokken lijken. Deze heuvels, gelegen in de Khizi-regio, hebben rode, witte en roze rotslagen. De prachtige patronen maken het een geweldige plek voor natuurliefhebbers en fotografen. Bezoekers kunnen over de paden lopen en genieten van het geweldige uitzicht op dit unieke landschap.
Een korte stop en vrije tijd in de buurt van de Five Finger "Beshbarmag Dag" gebied. We zien de Berg van ver.

Qachrash Forest: stop gedurende 15 minuten om te genieten van het landschap en voor fotoshoot
Bewonder het adembenemende uitzicht op Gudialchay Canyon. Geniet van de natuur en schoonheid van de canyon. Vrije tijd voor foto's.
Eagle Hoogte: met duidelijk zicht op vliegende Eagles in noordelijke Kaukasus luchten.
Het dorp Khinaliq in Azerbeidzjan is een van de hoogste en oudste dorpen in de Kaukasus. Het ligt genesteld in de bergen en biedt een prachtig uitzicht en een kijkje in oude tradities. Met zijn stenen huizen en geplaveide straten is Khinaliq een unieke bestemming voor reizigers die op zoek zijn naar geschiedenis, cultuur en adembenemende landschappen. Verken het dorp door een wandelexcursie in Khinalug, bezoek het Khinalug-museum en de moskee.
Rij terug naar Bakoe. Afzetten bij hotels, einde van de tour.

Visiting Khinalig was unlike visiting anywhere else on earth. The village was charming and fascinating, and photos cannot do justice to the sheet beauty of the place. The drive is long, though. Our trip was 12 hours; we probably spent about 9 hours in the car in total. The mountain road was also a little treacherous in places, but for me that was part of the fun. Our tour guide was great and I would definitely do a tour with this company again.
We had a great time. Highly recommended 😊 The canyon was amazing, good guide and nice nature. Though not so fond of the lunchrestaurant we stayed at and we suggest changing to another.
This was an incredible day trip that took us from our accomodation in Baku right out to the north of Azerbaijan. Ali our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgable and I will never forget the amazing landscapes I saw!
We enjoyed the tour. We saw what’s outside of Baku, as well as sites such as the first oil well in the world, Ms. Bibi mosque, the Pink Lake, Five Finger Mountain, and the Candy Mountain. We also enjoyed a delicious lunch. We liked the tour. Highly recommend the tour and the guide!
Nothing happened yesterday to change the glowing reviews I’ve left earlier for Old City Tours!!! If anything, the Khinalug experience might have been the best. First, I liked the candy cane mountains much more than I expected to. And then the forest and canyon were amazing. But without doubt the visit to Khinalug was the highlight. And lunch was outstanding!!! Everything was amazing. As always, the guide and driver were superior. Big thumbs up!!
The views are so amazing! We had the most convenient time with Old City Tours exploring their countryside which was best for a day trip only. Our tour guide has been so accommodating in assisting our travel.
We participated in the Guba full day tour with Old City Tour and we were impressed! The guide Elmar was fantastic, with an in-depth knowledge of the history and culture of the place. The visited places were wonderful, immersed in the most beautiful nature. Our trip to Khinaliq was the highlight of the three trips we did with Old City Tours. (We also did the mud volcanoes and Gabala trips). The office staff were extremely helpful during booking especially Laila. The guides were very knowledgeable and informative, Samir also entertained us with a host of stories and wit. On the trip to Khinaliq, our guide Elmar was excellent, very clear speaker and very friendly. The scenery on the trip up to the village was stunning and well worth the "long" drive there and back. Lunch with the family in the village was enjoyable and great value... Elmar took us for a tour of the village, up to the highest point for the wonderful panoramic views. He also sent us some useful recommendations for the rest of our trip in Azerbaijan. They were small group tours of only six on each trip which was great. I would happily recommend Old City Tours to family and friends.
Guba Khinalug tour guided by Samir was one of the best tour I had in Azerbaijan. He led a small group of 3 tourists and drove the car to the destinations. He was very friendly and helped us taking pictures. We had nice lunch home made in the midst of mountains. It was was a memorable tour, and I recommend everyone to experience the same.
An endless ten-hour round trip with a short stop at the beautiful Candy Cane Mountans and lunch in an interesting village on the Caucasus. I wouldn't do this long tour again for just two attractions
