It is significantly overpriced. A taxi from Unipark hotel to the international airport costs $5 not $50. Take a taxy instead.
Dear Rimma, Thanks so much for this report. This is quite sad report and we respect but you need to understand we are a local tour company that offer services on line and our cars are minivan or SUV while taxis are smaller and yellow color and easy to take at the street. You took with us departure transfer from the hotel to the airport and we guess you took some arrival transfer with another company or other taxis, so if you knew in advance the price for this option you could have cancelled our service in advance without any penalty and avoid paid high rates as you mention. Besides please don´t share false information, you paid 36 USD and NOT 50 USD and you need to consider as well from that price we get 25% less considering the rest is the fee of the platform you used to book the service. Besides or team contacted a day before to remind you the pick up time from Unipark Hotel, so quite strange why you did not ask about the cancellation option, please consider we have to pay our staff and taking a taxi will be always much cheaper at any part in the world. Finally we could say our rates are not so high as your comment, we consider our price and service are good in compare with other companies. Thanks so much for using Ecuador Local Guide. The driver never showed. Fortunately, cabs were available or we would have been late for our flight.

did a couple of day trips wth guides. Very enjoyable. Had extra days in Guayaquil and Quito. We were taken to waterfalls in both places and historic Quito and center of the earth.

We used this service service several times while in Ecuador and the drivers were always prompt and courteous. It was a relief to know someone would be waiting at the airport for us. They usually had a bottle of cold water waiting for us too.
