Wandeling in Ihlara Valley naar een klassieke dorpslunch, het verkennen van het oude klooster en de ondergrondse stad met zijn unieke schoonheid. Groene tour is een volledige dag het verkennen van de verre zuidelijke uithoeken van de regio Cappadocië in het comfort van onze luxe minivans, met een professionele gecertificeerde gids. Onze eerste stop is bij het panoramische punt van Göreme, waar we een prachtig uitzicht hebben over de Göreme-vallei
We gaan naar de oude ondergrondse stad die gedurende zijn 4000-jarige geschiedenis door veel verschillende beschavingen is bewoond. We zullen leren hoe en waarom de stad hier is gebouwd en hoe ze ondergronds hebben kunnen leven.
We bezoeken het Selime-klooster met rotskunst, het grootste uit de rotsen gehouwen bouwwerk in heel Cappadocië. Het klooster was het centrum van het religieuze, sociale en commerciële leven.
We maken een aangename wandeling van 3 km door Ihlara Valley, een natuurlijke groene canyon tot 100 meter diep op sommige punten.
Onze laatste stop biedt een prachtig uitzicht op het kasteel van Uçhisar over de tuinen van Guvercinlik Vadisi (Duivenvallei). Dit is een geweldige locatie voor schilderachtige foto's. Daarnaast bezoeken we de onyxwerkplaats waar we de edelstenen van de regio kunnen zien.

If you're deciding between the Green Tour and the Red Tour in Cappadocia, I'd personally recommend the Green Tour. It's a longer day, but it's absolutely worth it. The highlight for me was the Underground City. It was fascinating to see how entire communities once lived and hid beneath the ground. Walking through the narrow tunnels and exploring the hundreds of interconnected cave rooms really brings history to life. I also enjoyed exploring Selime Monastery. It's an impressive rock-cut monastery with plenty of corners to wander through, and the views from the top are well worth the climb. Another unexpected highlight was the 3.5 km hike through Ihlara Valley. After several days of sightseeing, it was refreshing to stretch our legs while walking alongside the river through the beautiful canyon. It added a completely different side of Cappadocia to the experience. Overall, the Green Tour offers a great mix of history, nature, and adventure. Ali, our guide was very informative and attentive. It's a full day, but never felt rushed, and I'd definitely say it's worth setting aside a day for.

The tour was amazing. It was completely different from our red tour. Our guide was awesome, very knowledgeable, and did a great job. We didn't need to ask any questions really. Super great at explaining history to us. Thank you, well done I did , however, have a situation where I was not going to get picked up. It was not the guide's fault. It was the organiser who did not look at my booking I'd almost suggest the company change their policy. If they're not going to look at the bookings in the last two or three hours then they shouldn't make bookings available. It's happened to me twice using Viator
