Tickets to the tournament cost 30€, it is disproportionate to the amount you pay here. The guide spoke almost no English and she is not understood at all. Besides, he also gave us almost no information. I don't recommend paying for this touch because it's not what you promise. The Sumo championship was spectacular, but the tour is very expensive and not worth paying for
Sumo in itself is a wonderful experience, but i have following points: - price was far too expensive: face value was 5500 yens, and i paid 22000 yens. almost 4 times the price - guide service was only being handed ticket, admission, 10 minutes of sumo history and getting to our seats. The one who is next to guide might have learned something and that was all. -i dont think price versus guide services match at all.

Amazing experience, the guide was fantastic. We requested a little private touring (that we payed separately) to go to a cafe nearby with a private guide who could tell us a little more about history and rules of sumo as long as the category systems and who the best sumo fighters were. Then we went to see the highest categories for 2 hours and a half of fights. It was the perfect plan, don't doubt about it. Great way to enjoy some sumo if you don't know anything about it. Inside, the guide also could tell us a lot of information and lore about each fight which made the experience just perfect. We have never seen sumo before that's why 4 hours of sumo seemed to much for us and organized it this way.
This was FANTASTIC! Our guide H really impressed us with his knowledge and enthusiasm. The sumo was even better than we expected, and we had high expectations. Would highly recommend this experience with H.
