Begin vandaag met een prachtig uitzicht over Camara de Lobos, gevolgd door een prachtig uitzicht vanaf Cabo Girao, de op een na hoogste zeeklip ter wereld. Leg het prachtige uitzicht vast vanaf Paul da Serra. Bezoek de charmante villa van Porto Moniz en de prachtige en unieke natuurlijke zwembaden, Sao Vicente, Cabana São Jorge en Santana, deze tour zal het hoogtepunt zijn van elk bezoek aan Madeira.

Cabo Girão is een van de hoogste zeekliffen van Europa op 580m. Wees dapper en loop langs de glazen vloer die zich uitstrekt over de top van de klif en bewonder het geweldige uitzicht.
Op weg naar Porto Moniz nemen we de weg langs Paul da Serra - het grootste en meest uitgestrekte plateau van het eiland op 1400 m boven de zee - genietend van het groene landschap van bergen en valleien.
Volgende stop bij Porto Moniz - gelegen in het noorden van het eiland, stad die bekend staat om zijn natuurlijke zwembaden gevormd uit vulkanische rotsen.
Rijd vanuit Porto Moniz over wegen langs de kust omringd door rotsachtige terrein om naar indrukwekkende watervallen te lonken. Ga daarna naar het historische Sao Vicente, geniet van charmante straten en monumenten in de stad voordat je stopt voor de lunch.
Het uitkijkpunt Cabanas ligt tussen São Jorge en Arco de São Jorge. Op heldere dagen kunt u het naburige eiland Porto Santo zien liggen.
Bewaar wat selfies voor het volgende aantrekkelijke gebied van Santana met zijn beroemde huisjes. Het centrum voor traditionele Santana-huizen presenteert enkele van de typische huizen van Santana, waar u regionale producten kunt krijgen.
Verken ten slotte de stad Machico, waar in de jaren 1420 beroemde reizigers vertrokken om nieuwe landen over zee te ontdekken. Keer terug naar Funch.

We saw the other side of Madiera. Beautiful mountains, forest and valleys, vineyards and banana farms. Our driver was local and well informed. He gave us a fabulous tour and went out of his way to make our day fabulous. He was very sensitive to our wants and needs. The coastal drive was breathtaking.

<p>Guide was excellent. Picked up exactly on time at our hotel. There were only 4 of us for the trip and we travelled in a luxury people carrier. He was extremely informative and we really felt like we learned a lot about the Madeiran way of life. Unfortunately, at the point where we should have been able to see views of both the north and south of the island, the weather was misty and wet so the only views we got were of the side of the road !! We liked that the time we spent in each of the stops was enough to see each place but not too long that we felt we were struggling to find things to do. Lunch was very nice and relaxing. We would highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Madeira for the first time. Couldn't fault the arrangements.</p>

<p>This tour provides lot of sight seen things and great views. Especially for the Santana and the Porto Moniz. Unfortunately for us we had a driver in a very rush mood, he was driving like crazy and i felt dizzy in all the way and my wife sick. Too bad! The provided lunch was very good and complete as lunch.</p>
