Laten we beginnen met de Hangende Obelisk, een van de meest unieke en interessante tentoonstellingen in het museum. Deze obelisk hangt aan het plafond, waardoor bezoekers een uniek perspectief krijgen op de oude hiërogliefen en ingewikkelde houtsnijwerken. Vervolgens gaan we naar het Ramses II standbeeld. Vervolgens zien we de Overwinningszuilen, torenhoge voorbeelden van oude Egyptische kunst. Daarna gaan we verder naar de Royal Regalia-tentoonstellingen, waar de koninklijke juwelen, kronen en andere accessoires te zien zijn, waaronder de complete Toetanchamon-collectie en koninklijke meesterwerken.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Magic Cairo Tours and our guide Mina. Mina is an highly experienced Egyptologist who provided an excellent tour of the Grand Egyptian Museum for my wife, teen daughter, and me. He was attentive to our questions and ensured we made the most of our time there. All in all, an excellent experience. I highly recommend him.

This private guided GEM tour was exceptional. Hany's knowledge of Egyptian history and his ability to teach hieroglyphs simply made the GEM tour unforgettable. King Tutankhamun’s treasures were breathtaking with his storytelling. Everything was perfectly organized and flexible.

I was recommended Marsil as a tour guide by a friend to show me around Egypt and I could not be more happy with my experience! I had the pleasure of spending 4 days in Cairo and my tour guide Marsil and private driver Kero planned every day for me from hotel pickup, tours, lunch, dinner and hotel return. Marsil is a university qualified Egyptologist and her knowledge of ancient Egypt and its history is amazing, she had in depth explanations of every site and location we went to and kero patiently waited in the car the whole time to be ready for the next location. If you are going to Egypt I highly recommend getting Marsil as a tour guide to plan your whole trip and take the stress away. And a very good price also !
