This was a great experience. Staff was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. This was my first time with an electric bike, and wow, do I love it. The recommendations staff shared regarding logistics were spot on. Trust their recommendations. San Francisco is a great biking city. The Golden Gate Bridge was socked in with fog, but by the time we got to the last third of the bridge the fog opened up. The views were great. Easy ride. Easy return trip on the ferry. I heartily recommend.
An unbelievable experience. They were great with pointing us to awesome spots to check out. The best way to see the area. Definitely ride through the Presidio and up through Sausalito. Also, suggest the GG overlook on the far side of the bridge. Tough ride but views paid off
You hit the nail on the head—Fort Baker is exactly the spot you're describing! It is definitely a tough little climb, but as you discovered, that view of the bridge is absolutely second to none. Next time you visit, we highly recommend checking out Mill Valley. It's right past Sausalito and features some incredibly impressive California Coastal Redwoods that are well worth the trip.
