Een voormalige huisvrouw werd chocolatier en begon opnieuw toen ze veertig was. Stap binnen voor een 60% pure chocoladelepel die smelt tot warme melk met uitzicht op het paleis.

Veertig meter ondergronds, twaalfhonderd soldaten, vijftig kanonnen. Het fort dat Europa het Gibraltar van het Noorden noemde.
Een zeemeermin die met een graaf trouwde en voorgoed verdween. Haar beeltenis duikt ergens op dat je elke dag ziet — en waarschijnlijk nooit hebt opgemerkt.
Militair ziekenhuis, gevangenis, kazerne, concertzaal — en middeleeuwse begraafplaats. Elke renovatie van de Abdij Neumünster levert iets onverwachts op.
Ooit een militaire vestingmuur, nu het mooiste balkon van Europa genoemd. Pauzeer hier zo lang als je wilt — dit uitzicht verdient het.
Ze vluchtte midden in de nacht uit Luxemburg, en zond vervolgens via de BBC verzet uit tegen een land onder nazi-bezetting. Charlotte's verhaal is het waard om voor te stoppen.
Luxemburgs enige kathedraal, gebouwd door jezuïeten en geschonken aan de stad. De crypte bevat een koning van Bohemen, een blinde koning, en eeuwen van de groothertogelijke familie.
Het grootste deel van het fort werd stuk voor stuk opgeblazen of verkocht. Deze grillige toren is wat overleefde — en het lijkt precies op zijn naam.
Waar het allemaal begon : de rotsachtige klif waar Siegfried in 963 na Christus voor handelde. Kijk neer op de Alzette vallei en begrijp waarom deze plek een land werd.
De nazi's ontmantelden dit monument tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Wat er nu staat is een wederopbouw — ter ere van de Luxemburgers die in drie oorlogen hebben gevochten.
Twee jaar lang was dit de grootste stenen boogbrug ter wereld. Luxemburgers noemen het een eeuw later nog steeds de „Néi Bréck".

My first time doing a self-guided tour. This is worth every penny. I couldn’t find the stairs down to the Mermaid statue (I recommend that they add another note on the tour and with photos how to get to the road-path-stairs to get down because the map is not too good). Overall, I got to see mostly all the points of. Interest.

Very interesting visit, especially since it is possible to do it in order thanks to the numbers. On the other hand, a small improvement would be to put a small user manual that would open for download, because I did not immediately understand that there was a GPS function, very useful by the way. I recommend anyway!

Nice experience, nice and interesting principle. On the other hand in the acknowledgement email it is not clearly enough in my opinion to download the application to then start the journey more easily. The name of the application to download should be more precise because on Google 2 applications are offered. During the journey it would be useful to add the following of the journey with more precise arrow. The principle of the visit is very well thought out and this leaves an autonomy from a guided tour.
