Een privétour op maat met de auto vanuit de stad Luxemburg richting de Moezelvallei en terug. We rijden door de dorpen en zien historische bezienswaardigheden, parken, wijnkelders en andere lokale bezienswaardigheden. Er is de mogelijkheid om korte wandelingen te maken om van prachtige uitzichten te genieten en om te ontspannen in een van de plaatselijke cafés. De tour is speciaal ontworpen voor individuen of gezinnen die geïnteresseerd zijn in de geschiedenis en tradities van Luxemburg. De gebruikelijke route is ongeveer 80 kilometer. Het reisschema wordt afgestemd op uw persoonlijke voorkeuren.

De laatste rustplaats voor deze Amerikanen die tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog omkwamen in het Ardennenoffensief en tijdens de opmars naar de Rijn.
Dalheim is een dorp in het zuidoosten van Luxemburg. Er zijn aanwijzingen voor een Romeinse nederzetting genaamd Ricciacum. De archeologische vindplaats bevat overblijfselen van particuliere huizen en openbare gebouwen die hier rond de 2e eeuw na Christus zijn gebouwd.
Aspelt is een klein dorp met het kasteel uit de 16e eeuw en de Sint-Andreaskerk. Het dorp wordt geassocieerd met een prominente politieke figuur uit de 13e eeuw die de geschiedenis van Luxemburg heeft beïnvloed.
Mondorf-les-Bains is een klein stadje in het zuidoosten van Luxemburg, op de grens met Frankrijk. De stad staat bekend om zijn spacentrum en het thermale park met een Franse tuin, oranjerie, rozenkrans, fonteinen en sculpturen.
Schengen is een klein wijndorp aan de westelijke oever van de rivier de Moezel, waar de grenzen van Luxemburg, Duitsland en Frankrijk samenkomen. De naam van het dorp werd bekend nadat hier in 1985 het Akkoord van Schengen werd ondertekend.
Remich is een stad op de linkeroever van de rivier de Moezel. Het staat bekend om de Moezel Esplanade en gezellige terrassen met cafés en restaurants.
Domaines Vinsmoselle is de belangrijkste producent van Luxemburgse wijnen en Crémants. Het dorp Wellenstein ligt tussen de wijngaarden en biedt een panoramisch uitzicht op de rivier de Moezel.
Grotten St Martin is een prestigieuze wijnmakerij net buiten Remich. Ze bieden verschillende rondleidingen, waaronder wijnproeverijen. De bezoekers wandelen in de ondergrondse tunnels uitgehouwen in de massieve kalksteenrots en ontdekken de geheimen van de hoogwaardige St Martin wijnen en crémants. (De wijnmakerij is gesloten in januari en februari en op maandag en dinsdag).

Alma did a terrific job! We would recommend her to anyone who was short on time but wanted to tour not just of the Luxembourg City, but of the beautiful countryside around it! She demonstrated a vast knowledge of the area and the history!
Tour lady was very nice - except. Seemed very upset that we didn't want to visit the American soldier cemetery - made us feel like we were bad Americans because we didn't want to go. Seemed rattled that we didn't want to follow her exact tour plan. Made us feel stupid because we drove down to Luxembourg from Brussels and then back up to Netherlands instead of Netherlands and then Luxembourg. Our next flight was out of Amsterdam. We did enjoy seeing Shengen area where signing occurred and the winery we stopped at.

It is based on a carefully prepared itinerary designed to include many of the most interesting places in the city and surrounding countryside. The tour covers approximately 80 kilometres on country roads and is planned carefully to make the best use of the available time, avoid unnecessary traffic, and arrive at scheduled visits, including the winery, which is booked in advance. The itinerary is not intended to be a completely open-ended custom tour. However, I am always happy to make reasonable adjustments to accommodate guests' individual needs—for example, replacing a longer walk with a shorter one, allowing extra time for a coffee break, or adapting the pace of the day. Whenever possible, it is best to discuss such preferences before the tour begins, so that the itinerary can be adjusted accordingly. Last-minute changes during the tour can sometimes be more difficult, particularly as I am both the guide and the driver. Changes to the route or schedule require attention and planning and, naturally, safe driving must always remain my priority. My intention is never to make guests feel uncomfortable or judged for their preferences or travel choices. My goal is to provide an enjoyable, well-organised, and safe experience while sharing the places and history that make this region so special.
We had a brilliant day with Alma taking us around Luxembourg. From the hotel pick up, wandering at a comfortable pace walking through the city learning about the history of Luxembourg to driving along the Moselle River and exploring the wine caves at St Martin’s vineyard, today was such a wonderful experience.
