Maak deze eendaagse reuzenpanda en Leshan Boeddha-dagtocht om de schattige panda's en de heuvelgrote Boeddha te zien. Als Chinese nationale schatten, leven reuzenpanda's alleen in China, waarvan de meeste in de provincie Sichuan wonen. Het is bekend dat Chengdu de thuisbasis is van de gigantische panda en de Giant Panda Breeding Research Base in Chengdu is de beste plek om deze mooie wezens te bezoeken. Meer dan 90 panda's zijn beschikbaar om te zien hoe ze plezier hebben en ervan genieten in de half open tuin. Je bezoekt ook de Leshan Giant Buddha, het grootste Boeddhabeeld ter wereld, waarvan wordt gezegd: "De Boeddha is een heuvel en de heuvel is een Boeddha."

Je privé Chengdu-tour begint in de vroege ochtend rond 7 uur 's ochtends wanneer je gids en chauffeur je ophalen bij je hotel of de luchthaven. Je gaat dan naar de Giant Panda Breeding Research Base in de buitenwijk, slechts 10 km ten noorden van Chengdu, waar je de mooie panda's kunt zien die verschillende grappige bewegingen maken terwijl ze eten en spelen. Er is een grote mogelijkheid om panda's te bezoeken en ook een wandeling te maken in de brede en frisse tuin van bamboe, wat een aangename ervaring is.
Na het bezoeken van de pandatuin, rijd je naar Leshan, wat ongeveer 2 uur is op de uitdrukkelijke manier. Het brede verspreidende landschap van de vlakte van Chengdu zal niet saai zijn. Voor de lunch geniet je van heerlijke lokale Chinese keuken. Na de lunch zal uw gids u het wonder van de Leshan Giant Buddha laten zien, gelegen aan de kant van de Minjiang rivier, ook bekend als "Boeddha is de heuvel en de heuvel is een Boeddha." Eerst bezoek je de Linyun-tempel, de herdenking van de monnik Hai Tong, die 1000 jaar geleden donaties verzamelde onder moeilijke omstandigheden en begon met de bouw van dit enorme werk. Je loopt dan het zigzaggende pad langs de linkerkant van Boeddha af. De Boeddha is een kleine berg, van zijn kop tot zijn schouder, en van zijn been tot zijn voet is ongeveer 30 minuten wandelen. Je wandelt dan aan de rechterkant, wat een goede plek is om Leshan-stad te bekijken over de kruising van de Minjiang-rivier, de Dadu-rivier en de Qingyi-rivier. Eindelijk, als de tijd het toelaat, zou je door kunnen gaan om de tempel van Wuyou te bezoeken, waar je zult genieten van het standbeeld van 500 Arhats. Na het wandelen kun je een cruise maken langs de rivieren om de Boeddha vanaf het water te zien (optioneel programma - moet je extra geld betalen voor $ 12 USD). In de late namiddag neemt uw chauffeur weer 2 uur de tijd op de expresweg. Precies genoeg tijd om even een dutje te doen in uw voertuig. Wanneer u laat in de middag aankomt in Chengdu, zullen uw gids en chauffeur u terugbrengen naar uw hotel of de luchthaven. Beëindig deze excursiereis met veel goede herinneringen.

Our tour guide, Cora, was very helpful and knowledgeable. The whole trip was not too rush, got to see lots of Pandas. Boat ride at Leshan Buddha was fun. It was a pleasant trip overall. Highly recommended !

Our tour guide Veronica and our driver Mr Li were excellent. The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding was amazing! This is a must-see for any tourists visiting Chengdu, providing the weather allows! We had a nice lunch at Nanniwan Environmental Hotpot and then continued our tour to the Leshan Giant Buddha, and would recommend upgrading to the boat tour for better views and less walking! The entire day was entertaining, informative, and enjoyable. Veronica was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant to be around! This tour package was a great way to spend the day!

Our group would like to thank China Exploration for making our visit to Chengdu a memorable one. We would also like to thank our guide, Sara Zhou. Ms. Zhou is a "walking encyclopedia" of Pandas. She says there are about 1900 pandas in the wild. In the place we visited, the Chendu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, there are 757 Giant Pandas. She could easily identify 500 of them by just showing her their pictures. Amazing! Anyway, she is also very kind, helpful and patient. She happily guided us to the crowded Jinli street. Jinli Street was ranked 1st among the "world's most beautiful streets" published by CNN Travel in 2019. Last, but not the least- Sara speaks fluent English. English is rarely spoken in China and it is very difficult to communicate with the locals. Sara made it easy for us to communicate with the Chinese locals.
