Er is niets anders als dit in de Daintree! PRACHTIGE WANDELING NAAR DE WATERVAL WONDERLAND Dagtocht : 8:30 - 16:00 uur. We hebben exclusieve toegang gekregen tot een privé Daintree Rainforest tropische fruitboerderij, waar we kunnen wandelen in het oude regenwoud en zwemmen onder een ongerepte, afgelegen waterval.... Na het verkennen van deze idyllische wandeling door weelderige open bossen en de kreekvallei, genieten we van een uitstekende gastronomische lunch, met keuzes uit steak, barramundi vis, kip, kangoeroe en vegetarisch. GELIEVE UW LUNCHKEUZES VOOR ALLE REIZIGERS IN TE VOEREN ONDER "SPECIALE WENSEN" TIJDENS HET AFREKENEN. En sluit de middag af met een unieke boottocht door de Daintree River op zoek naar de fascinerende estuariene krokodillen en andere wilde dieren van dit ecosysteem dat op de Werelderfgoedlijst staat. Om de ochtend te beginnen rijden we vanuit Port Douglas door weelderige en bergachtige kustlandschappen en leren we over de geschiedenis en cultuur van de regio, terwijl we richting het oude Daintree Rainforest reizen.
Voor onze spectaculaire en idyllische wilde wandeling wandelen we door eeuwenoude open plekken in het regenwoud en de kreekvallei naar een prachtige, afgelegen waterval in het Daintree Wet Tropics Werelderfgoedgebied, waar we kunnen zwemmen in deze ongerepte, ongerepte rotspoelen. De wandeling duurt 1 uur, enkele reis, en vereist een redelijke conditie en een goede balans. We gaan in een rustig tempo en delen onderweg veel fascinerende details over het ongerepte ecosysteem van het regenwoud... Daarna ontspannen we en genieten we van een verfrissende duik in deze magische natuurlijke Rockpool, waar we direct onder de watervallen kunnen zwemmen!
We genieten van een uitstekende gastronomische lunch in een verborgen restaurant in het regenwoud, met keuzes uit biefstuk, vis, kangoeroe, kip of vegetarisch, en er wordt rekening gehouden met andere dieetwensen. Vers voor u bereid door een chef-kok van het beste restaurant uit de omgeving. Geniet van een extra proeverij van tropisch fruit bij uw hoofdmaaltijd en leer over de geschiedenis en culinaire toepassingen van deze kleurrijke en exotische lekkernijen!
Voor de middag beginnen we aan een op zonne-energie aangedreven Daintree River Crocodile and Wildlife spotting cruise. Krijg de kans om 's werelds grootste krokodil van dichtbij te zien en neem je camera mee voor de prachtige vogels op het estuarium.

Had a wonderful day with Allister and Daintree Experience. We started off on a crocodile cruise and saw many crocs from small hatchlings to a large older alpha male. Lunch was a delightful visit featuring local rainforest fruits. The guided hike to a beautiful waterfall in the Daintree was special. We essentially had the trail to ourselves and had as much time as we wanted to swim in the pool below the waterfall. Allister is incredibly nice and lended a lot of stories about the area as only a local could. I appreciated his stories and I really gained a deeper understanding of the local social, political and environmental factors in the region.

Allister provided a unique opportunity to see parts of the Daintree off limits to the general public - notably the beautiful Cassowary Falls. The Croc cruise with multiple crocodile sightings and the delicious lunch topped off a great day.

We have had a wonderful day! First we went on a Daintree river cruise with Bruce Belcher & Sons, enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Daintree Tea House (where we were entertained by the owner who told us stories about all tropical fruits served at the restaurant). Finally, we were taken on a waterfall walk through the Daintree rainforest and swam in the lagoon. Best of all our guide, Alistair, who entertained us with his lovely stories and explained things as we walked along. This tour is highly recommended and not to be missed!

An amazing experience and a fantastic day for anyone interested in Australia's unique nature and UNESCO World Heritage-listed ecosystems. The hike to a secluded waterfall, which only Allister offers, is absolutely breathtaking. Along the way, you learn so much about the rainforest through a truly immersive experience. Before or after the am hike, you'll enjoy a wonderful Daintree River cruise, where you can spot crocodiles up close in their natural habitat. The day also includes a lovely lunch, during which you get to taste and learn about local tropical fruits. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable Daintree experience. RT f

This is an outstanding tour. Facilitated by a relatable authentic local guide. Alistair is a rock star. He has a great sense of humor, was very knowledgeable of the surroundings, including history and nature, and has insider access to many of the local gem.
