Je wordt door onze vertegenwoordiger opgehaald bij je hotel om te genieten van een geweldige excursie naar de piramides van Cheops, Chephren en Mykerinus. Ga dan verder met een bezoek aan de Grote Sfinx, die dateert uit de tijd van Chephren, en bezoek de Vallei-tempel.
Ga naar de trappenpiramide van Zoser, 's werelds oudste grote stenen bouwwerk. Het werd gebouwd in de 3e dynastie voor koning Djoser. Ga dan verder om te lunchen in een lokaal restaurant.

We had deliberately chosen a Dutch-language guide. After a difficult start (driver was new and stood in a different place than our guide) still had a nice day. The advantage is that the guide knows the way around so you don't waste time searching or hassle with taxis. Lunch was tasty, and unexpected stop at papyrus museum was very nice and educational. What was disappointing was the guide's knowledge of Giza and Sakkarah. We expected him to explain more details about the history. Fortunately, we had already read ourselves fairly well.
It was a very good trip! We had to drive really long, but the pyramides were awesome! The guid gave us so much information, it was so interesting! Amazing how awefull the slums looked and some parts so beatifull. It was a exhausting day, but so glad we went
