Great guide! Very entertaining and educational. Fun and enjoyable experience. Would highly recommend for price
This is a great experience-beautiful and peaceful hike. Guide is very good personable and knowledgeable. The marshlands with the beaver dam is beautiful. Who knew trouts eat cucumber! His goats and dog Luna are great companions on the hike; adding to the adventure. Recommend experience as solo, family or with friends. This was my first hike with goats and it was awesome-will definitely do it again.
It was excellent. Friendly & knowledgeable guides. Cute goats. Lovely German Shepherd keeping us all together. Yummy picnic lunch. We were so impressed by the use of reusable plates & cutlery. So many activities are wasteful using disposable items. No single use water bottles either, which is a plus. Thanks!
Very cool. Definitely worth it. We'll organized, informative, and unique. See the nature side of things in quebec city.
Francois and his son, Charles, were excellent guides. They were able to engage our kids by pointing out different things along the hiking path, including a recent wild turkey kill, skunk skull, garter snakes, northern red belly snake, bear markings, native plants, and the beaver dam. The goats were a hoot and the kids enjoyed walking them. Luna also kept us entertained. The lunch at the end was delicious, especially the goat cheese. We had a larger group and everyone was able to keep up as it was a nice, slow and easy hike, mostly in the shade of the forest. This experience was the highlight of our Quebec trip - would absolutely do it again.
Absolutely fantastic! We were introduced to the pack of goats and Lola the German sherperd that gathered the goats when nessasary ;) Walking was an education with Francois!, He was absolutely in his element !! Very knowledgeable about the plants, animals and Quebec's outdoors. After we walked by a beaver dam and returned we had an AMAZING picnic. We both loved the trip!!!
Great hike! Travelled with 3 seniors and one other adult. Fair warning the hike is very hilly. The views were amazing and the goats were great companions. Learned some new nature facts from our guide Francois.
this hike is awesome!! we loved all the goats and everyone got to walk them as much as they wanted. lunch was delish and we made many friends, human and goat alike! our guide was also very well informed and i loved that we could support a local business. highly recommended! 🤩
We’re a family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers. We had such a wonderful time with Francois, his goats, and dog. Francois is very friendly online and in person. He kept the conversation going sharing things about the area as well as about himself. The goats were super cute and knew where to go and what to do. My son really enjoyed throwing a stick for the dog, Luna. I’m not a big hiker but I felt it was doable and not strenuous. It had rained the day before so a lot of muddy and wet areas but nothing we could do about that! At the end of the hike Francois provided us with a wonderful lunch. We enjoyed sliced baguettes, Brie, goat cheese, pasta salad, various fruits & veggies, salami, prosciutto, and an apple pie! Warning, no bathroom available except for Francois’ camping toilet so make sure to go before your hike! Overall, I highly recommend this hike to anyone.
