Jopis Broz Tito. Eén man, miljoenen verhalen. In het jaar 2000 hoorde het publiek van het bestaan van een groot atoomschuilcentrum, een van de grootste in zijn soort in Europa, dat had kunnen worden gebruikt als een bescherming voor 350 mensen in het geval van een atoomincident. Op de berg Zlatar, niet ver van Konjic, staat een object dat bekend staat als de bunker van Tito. Tot de ontdekking van het ware doel, het interieur en de imposante ondergrondse inhoud en grootte, was het slechts een huis dat zich in het midden van nergens bevond, zoals mensen graag zeggen. Meer dan 30 jaar geleden werd deze atoomschuilplaats gebouwd als de belangrijkste commandopost van de voormalige JNA. Dit object werd 26 jaar gebouwd en er werd $ 4,6 miljard geïnvesteerd. Slechts vier officiële commandanten wisten van de faciliteit en de arbeiders die het stille contract moesten ondertekenen. In ongeveer 1 uur durende rit naar Konjic, een verbazingwekkende stad in Herzegovina met veel geschiedenis, komt u dichter bij de Bunker.

Tito's bunker is een nucleaire bunker en militair commandocentrum uit de Koude Oorlog in de buurt van de stad Konjic in Bosnië en Herzegovina. Gebouwd om de Joegoslavische president Josip Broz Tito en tot 350 leden van zijn binnenste kring te beschermen in geval van een atoomconflict, bestaat de structuur uit woonwijken, conferentiezalen, kantoren, strategische planningskamers en andere gebieden. De bunker bleef een staatsgeheim tot na het uiteenvallen van Joegoslavië in de jaren negentig. Tickets voor het bezoek zijn NIET inbegrepen.
