Overall a great day out. However, some of the instructions need looking at. For instance when at the black swan in and asked about where the children play colour of coats, it mentions nothing if where children play so you assume it's the coats of arms on the plaque. However when you request a hint it tells you to look to the temple across the street but it looks nothing like a temple and on clicking reveal answer, shows a stone monument in the wall across the street that cannot be seen for parked cars and it doesn't say go to the building just look at it. Also at the next clue from the swan inn it states keeping the pub behind you look slightly to the right and there's a lane Go down that lane. However, if the pub is behind you the lane is to your left not right. Which is confusing. Then as you go down that lane and end up at Bedern Hall. If private function on you can't go inside and can't look around for details of the clue so had to ask a member of the hall where the blue was which was in the stain glass window but backwards from outside. Then onto the Treasurers house. This blue needs mentioning that the clue is visible only from the front of the house not where signposted down the cobbled street at the side prior to heading to the york minster. The clue for the bench states to walk on the path surrounding the minster but it's actually the park path so naming the park in the clue would be helpful as we nearly went a different way as thought the park wasn't related to minster. The inputting of clues are strange as the familiar face was eating a marmalade sandwich as he always does, but the clue answer would only allow sandwich which if you know Paddington he always has a marmalade sandwich! These are only suggestions! And if I hadn't had my daughter in a wheelchair to push and had her able to go off in one area and I do another then maybe these things wouldn't have been an issue, but with cobbles and her being stuck and unable to leave her while I looked around further away then I'm sure if gave not even noticed these things. It is well thought out and great to get you seeing parts of york you wouldn't normally see. It's great value for money 😁
