Gardameer: Sirmione Boottocht en Wandeltocht

Ontmoet je gids buiten de muren van Sirmione, waar je avontuur begint. Maak je na een korte introductie klaar voor een meeslepende ervaring terwijl je een boottocht maakt, langs het schiereiland vaart en geniet van de ontzagwekkende landschappen van het Gardameer en de betoverende stad Sirmione. Bewonder de oude Romeinse villa, Grotte di Catullo, en bewonder de fascinerende thermale bronnen die uit het hart van het meer komen. Het avontuur eindigt daar niet! Na deze introductie over het water volg je je deskundige gids terwijl je door de oude ophaalbrug van de kasteelmuren stapt en je waagt in de betoverende straten van Sirmione. Ontdek verborgen geheimen, ontrafel intrigerende verhalen en luister naar het gefluister van oude legendes die door dit charmante dorp weerklinken. Na de rondleiding raden we je aan om wat vrije tijd te nemen om te winkelen of je over te geven aan een heerlijke gelato in een van de vele gelateria's in het centrum.

Na de boottocht wandel je door de kleine en pittoreske straatjes van dit prachtige dorp, bekijk je het huis van Maria Callas en verken je het middeleeuwse centrum.

This experience consists of a short boat ride around the historic part of Sirmione followed by a walk through the historic center to the ancient ruins. Then you proceed into the ruins (cost included in ticket) and see all of that. Our guide (I think her name was Cinzia??) was so friendly and very informative. Thoroughly enjoyed this trip. Be aware there is a lot of walking involved, so wear comfy shoes :)
Carla was wonderful! Very knowledgeable and accommodating. I would highly recommend her and Ways tours.
We did this activity on June 14 and it was very hot. Maybe a good activity for cooler days. Francesca did a good job and we had a nice group but you should know that if it is hot, it will be like doing hot yoga with all the walking. Glad we did it and it was interesting but let the weather guide you.

We had a wonderful experience with our tour guide Frank! He was so knowledgeable and personable that we enjoyed every minute. His English was great and we learned so much about Sirmione from him. He was a history enthusiast and we thoroughly enjoyed learning from him. I highly recommend this tour if you have a few hours of free time on the peninsula.

We had a lovely guide , Franchesca , very charming and friendly and easily conversed with my kids and the adults in the group . She was very knowledgeable , patient and answered all our questions. The morning was very calm no wind which reduces visiblity on the lake for distant views but makes for smooth sailing and we had no issues viewing the sites of Sermione . The walking trip got busier with people as the morning progressed , so going the earlier time is advisable especially when you have kids . The trip was one of the top highlights of our trip to Italy . Would recommend it
