Vertrek vanuit Taipei en breng een dag sightseeing door in Taichung. Bezoek de "Zhongshe Tourist Flower Market", een bloemenbestemming waar bloemen het hele jaar door bloeien. Ervaar de eetcultuur van Taiwan bij "Chun Shui Tang", de originele theewinkel voor bubbelmelk van Taiwan. Bezoek dan de "Miyahara Oogheelkunde Kliniek" een ijssalon gerenoveerd van een traditioneel gebouw. Bezoek aan Rainbow Village - De kleurrijke en speelse muurschilderingen maken het een van Taichungs meest iconische fotoplekken. Op een oppervlakte van zes hectare, op een binnenplaats in Europese stijl, wordt het hele jaar door een verscheidenheid aan bloemen in rijke kleuren geproduceerd.
In Rainbow Village staan de oude huizen vol met kleurrijke plaatjes. (Elke maandag gesloten; buitenfotografie alleen op maandag)
Een van de originele parelmelktheewinkels in Taiwan, geniet van een traditioneel en authentiek Taiwanees parelmelktheedrankje in het schilderachtige restaurant
Het ontwerp met het hoge plafond is gerenoveerd in de stijl van een oud Taiwanees huis en doet denken aan de Zweinsteinscène uit Harry Potter. Het is een bekende attractie om in te checken en foto's te maken.

Really good if you want to do instagrammy stuff, you go to lots of places that are meant to be photographed. Not my thing, kinda just wanted to see the wetlands and rainbow village. If you want to see the entirety and go inside Rainbow Village don't go on Sunday, Sunday you can only go around the exterior. Surprisingly you also get to go to the original milk tea/boba place in the world, which was a nice treat. Be warned bring cash, cause the lunch and boba are basically add-ons and you need to pay on the bus to the first stop.
