Gaios Trail en uitzichtpunt Penedo C'Abana, Coimbra
Beschrijving
In een klein landelijk dorpje, in het hart van Beira Alta, willen we je een avontuur bezorgen op een fantastisch pad gebouwd met kleurrijke houten loopbruggen, de vrucht van het harde werk van mensen in de regio. Een route en een plek die op u en uw bezoek wacht! Langs dit cirkelvormige pad lopen we over houten loopbruggen, bosgebieden en landbouwgebieden. De loopbruggen over de rotsen en over de rivier maken deze plek uniek en vol magie. Een route waar de kleine watervallen van Rio Cavalos en de oevergalerij je tijdens dit avontuur zullen begeleiden. Tijdens deze wandeling krijgt u ook de gelegenheid om het vergeten erfgoed van deze landelijke hoek te ontdekken en te observeren, die goed gemarkeerd is door verschillende watermolens en watermolens langs de route van de rivier de paarden. Daarna bezoeken we twee heel bijzondere uitkijkpunten, waar je een Penedo vindt die de wetten van de natuurkunde tart en een andere waar je kunt zwaaien in de wind.

We gaan door het meest unieke pad van Portugal, de Trilho dos Gaios. Langs de River Horses zullen we de fauna en flora in al zijn schoonheid observeren via kleurrijke paden.
Uitzichtpunt met een fantastisch uitzicht over de rivier de Mondego. Hier ga je de Penedo schudden en de wetten van de natuurkunde uitdagen.
Een plek met een adembenemend landschap waar je kunt schommelen terwijl je kijkt naar alle details die je uitzicht bereikt.

If you appreciate nature and natural beauty, this is the tour for you. Sergio was a wonderful guide who is happy to answer any and all questions you may have. He is knowledgeable and kind. Highly recommend this tour, which consists of a drive to Vale do Gaios from Coimbra and a ~5km gentle hike. We even did it in the rain and it was fine - the trees provide a decent amount of cover.

I loved this tour. The route is very, very beautiful, following the Cavalos River, with a green forest around us and even a small waterfall. The trail is different from all the others I have seen, due to its walkways in different colors that make the intense green vegetation vibrate even more. We ended the day at Penedo C'Abana, which has a magnificent view, and for our enjoyment we even managed to shake the rock a little. Five stars.

We started the tour in a small village and soon began to see the colorful walkways along the river, almost reminiscent of the wizard of oz. Along the way Sérgio showed us all the details and told us the story of how this unique place came to be. To end the tour, we even had the opportunity to put the laws of physics into practice by shaking a ton boulder with our own hands. I definitely recommend this tour!
