Deze 3 uur durende verborgen wandeltocht neemt je mee van de gebaande paden om de authentieke natuur van Kyoto te verkennen. 1. Escape Overtourism : We beginnen een station verwijderd van de drukke hoofdingang. Volg je lokale Expert op een geheim pad dat alleen door de lokale bevolking wordt gebruikt, en vermijd de massale toeristische drukte. 2. Ghibli-achtig landschap : Wandel door mystieke bamboebosjes en ontdek prachtige, kleine heiligdommen diep verborgen in het bos. U zult de authentieke Japanse geest voelen. 3. Perfect Torii Gate Photos : Omdat we een verborgen route nemen, heb je de kans om de iconische duizend Torii poorten te zien en te fotograferen in een veel rustigere, vredige omgeving. 4. Passeer Tofuji en ga naar Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine
Wandel de berg op via een verborgen pad Door een smal bergpad over te steken, ontdekken we een natuurlijk bamboebos en een klein Inari-heiligdom verborgen voor toeristen. De hoofdingang van Fushimi Inari is moeilijk te navigeren vanwege veel mensen, maar door door door de bergen te lopen, zullen we Fushimi Inari vanuit een nieuw perspectief zien, weg van de menigte. Over een smal bergpad ontdekken we een natuurlijk bamboebos, en een klein Inari-heiligdom verborgen voor toeristen. De hoofdingang van Fushimi Inari is moeilijk te navigeren vanwege veel mensen, maar door door door de bergen te lopen, zullen we Fushimi Inari vanuit een nieuw perspectief zien, weg van de menigte.
Zie het kasteel vanaf de top van de berg Na het genieten van het adembenemende uitzicht vanaf de top van Fushimi Inari Dit kasteel werd gebouwd door Hideyoshi en herbouwd door Ieyasu, en nadat Fushimi Castle was herbouwd, werden er perzikbomen geplant door het Genroku-tijdperk, en het gebied werd bekend als Momoyama, en uiteindelijk werd Fushimi Castle bekend als Momoyama Castle of Fushimi Momoyama Castle.

- Deze wandeling is niet super moeilijk, in totaal ongeveer 7 km. Maar het is geen eenvoudige wandeling en vergt wel enige inspanning. Wij raden het niet aan voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn of niet in een normale conditie zijn. We stoppen regelmatig en kunnen indien nodig extra stops maken.
- Omdat de grond glad kan zijn, is het belangrijk dat u schoenen met goede grip draagt.
- Er kunnen muggen en insecten zijn als de groep in de bergen wandelt, dus we raden ten zeerste aan om een shirt met lange mouwen en een lange broek te dragen.
- Het reisschema voor deze tour bevat enkele locaties die niet toegankelijk zijn voor een rolstoel of kinderwagen.
- De zomer in Japan is erg heet en vochtig, dus we raden je aan water mee te nemen en een hoed te dragen om een zonnesteek te voorkomen.
- Houd er rekening mee dat het wandelpad glad en gevaarlijk kan worden bij hevige regenval. Als de weersomstandigheden zwaar zijn op de dag van de tour, kunnen we om veiligheidsredenen de route wijzigen van het verborgen wandelpad naar de belangrijkste sightseeingroute door Fushimi Inari Taisha. Before our hike, we decided to check out the main train early and walked around and thought we saw most of it, but after meeting up with our tour guide, he showed us so much more we didn’t expect he shared the backstory behind the Japanese religions, the details of the Shinto gods and why the shrines are designed the way that they are. We felt like we got an awesome experience that was very personalized for the price. Our tour guide was very kind and down to earth and asked a lot of questions about us and our travels and it was really nice to have a conversation with someone while hiking. Well worth it!!!
We were delighted with this excursion to Fushimi Inari in the company of Matt and Kazu. We really liked the route taken, we were able to enjoy the famous Torii away from the flow of tourists and in a really nice atmosphere!

This was by far my favorite tour of Japan. Josh was great with my kids, and we all learned so much! It was a demanding but rewarding hike. We were able to talk about nature, culture, and religion all while be playful and enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

Had a wonderful time with Akira, he kept us amused and entertained the whole tour. He gave us all sorts of insights and answered all the questions that we had for him. The walk itself was great, taking us up into the temple from lesser known paths and therefore no wannabe influencers to be seen until right at the end of the tour where we inevitably ran into the crowds at Fushimi Inari.
