We beginnen met een bezoek aan Cabo girão skywalker (580 meter) boven de zeespiegel met een prachtig uitzicht over de zee en over fajã do Cabo girão, dit is de beste plek om foto's te maken met het gevoel over de klif te vliegen, de beste manier om je vakantie nooit te vergeten of dat je hoogtevrees hebt. De reistijd van Ponta do Sol naar Cabo Girao is ongeveer 20 minuten
Als u stopt in het uitkijkpunt Véu da Noiva in de buurt, ziet u meer over de oude wegen en kijkt u naar de waterval Véu da Noiva, en misschien ook een korte koffiepauze in de souvenirwinkel (een goede stop om iets zoets en gedenkwaardigs mee te nemen naar familie of vrienden). De reistijd van São VIcente naar Véu da Noiva is ongeveer 20 minuten
U zult het genoegen hebben om het strand van Seixal (een zeer klein dorp met ongeveer 580 mensen wonen) te bezoeken. Voor veel mensen zal dit strand doen denken aan Hawai vanwege het natuurlijke zwarte zand, als gevolg van erosie van de basaltrots en vanwege het ongelooflijke groene uitzicht op de bergen langs de kust. De reistijd van São Vicente naar Véu da Noiva is ongeveer 30 minuten
Twee uur stoppen in Porto Moniz (een vissersdorp) gespecialiseerd in het verleden op de jacht op walvissen. In deze stop kunnen gasten hun tijd vrij beheren tussen het zwemmen op de vulkanische baden en de lunch. De reistijd van Seixal naar Porto Moniz is ongeveer 20 minuten.
Pauze tijd overwegen en ontspannen op het mooiste landschap in het hele eiland. Een mystiek bos beschermd door UNESCO en werelderfgoed sinds 1998. In dit bos zien we bomen ouder dan zes eeuwen, de zeer bekende stinklaurierboom, endemisch voor Madeira. De reistijd van Porto Moniz naar Fanal Forest is ongeveer 30 minuten.
De bergen af naar de zee. Tot slot van de tour met een zonnebad aan de baai van ponta do sol, een goede kans om Poncha of een Nikita te drinken, de meest zonnige stad op Madeira.

This was the highlight of my trip to Madeira. Our guide Bernardo was great and made the tour very enjoyable. All of the stops we made were great & the off-roading in the jeep was a welcome surprise! Would highly recommend The Big Adventure Madeira.
We had a fantastic day on the Big Adventures 4x4 tour around Madeira. Our guide, Thomas, was excellent—friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. The open top 4x4 was a great way to see the island, and the off-road sections were a real highlight. Being able to stand up in the vehicle gave us some amazing views and made the journey even more exciting. It was also really convenient to be picked up from and dropped off at our hotel, making the whole experience completely hassle-free. If you’re visiting Madeira and want to see some incredible scenery while having a bit of adventure, we’d highly recommend this tour. Thank you Tomas for a brilliant day.
We had a fantatic tour, very beautifull view points and also the off road track was very nice. Bernardo is a great guide and knows very much about Madeira. I absolutely recommend this magnificent excursion!
Bernardo was charming and knowledgeable and the perfect guide for our day out, he was fun and engaging and seemed to genuinely enjoy sharing his love of the island. We would highly recommend doing this tour. It really is a full day and there are many amazing things to see. He was a great driver, some of the roads were very narrow and steep but we never felt unsafe in the jeep. I love that they pick you up at your accommodation and drop you back at the end. The best experience for someone to Madeira to see the beautiful varied landscapes. If I did it again, while the restaurant stop in Porto Moniz was good, I would skip the lunch option and head straight to the natural pools (cafe on site). One of our party had to cancel the tour(well within the permitted cancellation window) and it took a phone call, several emails and texts to receive a refund (which we eventually did). Just a minor niggle and overall would recommend this tour without hesitation.
This is a must do day trip if visiting Madeira!! It was simply amazing. Price is good for what you get to see and do. We did the full day trip and left our hotel at 9.30am and arrived back at 5.30pm. Our good guide Francesco was absolutely brilliant, funny, knowledgeable, accommodating, and reserved a table for the whole Jeep at lunch. We had a good mix of people in our Jeep and everyone got on really well. Would 100% recommend. I would advise taking a jacket as it does get cool at certain stops and make sure you comfortable practical footwear as the terrain at the forest stop is very uneven and dusty.
Highly recommend this if you want a taste of what the beautiful island of Madeira has to offer. Paulo was our guide, super friendly and informative!
