Welkom bij een onvergetelijk avontuur! Een ervaring als geen ander, een geweldige mix van kajakken, hiken en inheemse cultuur in het prachtige regenwoud van Panama. Een dag vol avontuur en culturele onderdompeling waarvoor geen eerdere ervaring met kajakken vereist is. Dit is meer dan alleen een tour; het is een kans om blijvende herinneringen te creëren in het hart van de jungle van Panama!

Welkom bij een ervaring als geen ander in Panama, een geweldige mix van kajakken, wandelen en cultuur in het prachtige regenwoud. Dit avontuur begint met het gemak van ophalen bij uw accommodatie in het centrum van Panama City of Casco Viejo. Na een busrit van 50 minuten bevindt u zich aan de oever van de Chagres-rivier. Een kano brengt ons naar een hoger punt voor ons kajakavontuur. Terwijl u over de rivier glijdt, helpt de stroom u, dus dit avontuur is geschikt voor deelnemers zonder eerdere kajakervaring en veilig voor niet-zwemmers.
Onderweg pauzeren we voor een wandeling van 20 minuten door het weelderige regenwoud, wandelend door de modder, zand en gladde rotsen, wat ons naar een ongerepte waterval leidt. De verfrissende sensatie van zwemmen in deze natuurlijke oase is een perfecte manier om verbinding te maken met de natuur! Daarna gaan we terug om onze reis langs de rivier voort te zetten naar een dorp van de Embera stam. Hier heb je de traditionele lunch en heb je de mogelijkheid om je om te kleden in de beschikbare badkamers voordat je hun prachtige handwerk verkent. Na een dag vol avontuur en culturele onderdompeling brengt een kano ons terug naar het busje, waarna we ontspannen en uitrusten terwijl we terugkeren naar uw accommodatie. Aanbevelingen : Draag waterschoenen of sportschoenen met goede grip die je niet erg vindt als ze nat worden. Breng zonnebrandcrème mee. Muggenwerend middel is niet nodig. Je kunt zwemmen met kleding of je kunt een zwembroek meenemen onder kleding omdat er geen plek is om je om te kleden bij de waterval Neem contant geld mee voor het geval je souvenirs wilt kopen.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Ophalen inbegrepen bij de ingang van alle gebouwen, hotels of accommodaties in het centrum van Panama City of Casco Viejo. Vervoer vanaf Playa Bonita is alleen beschikbaar voor privétours tegen een toeslag van USD $ 30 per groep die contant moet worden betaald. De ophaaltijd is van 8u tot 8u:30, de exacte ophaaltijd wordt de avond voor de tour na 20u:30 per e-mail meegedeeld. Embera Community en Chagres National Park entree belasting dient contant te worden betaald aan de Gids bij het ophalen (USD $ 35 per persoon).

Incredible experience for a wild crew! As two boy moms traveling with a pair of energetic 6-year-olds, we needed a minor miracle of a tour guide, and Alci delivered! He was absolutely excellent and incredibly patient. From handling extra bathroom stops to waiting patiently while guiding us through the forest and waterfalls, he kept us completely safe (mostly from ourselves!). We had a great time, and Alci’s calm, patient guidance made a very difficult trek feel totally doable. Highly recommend!

This was such a wonderful experience. I highly recommend everyone to do it, if you are able. The Embaro people are amazing and so welcoming. They were so kind and helpful. Alce our guide went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible. He even jumped into water fall with us to give us a full waterfall photoshoot we will never forget! He was funny and fun and full pf information. The Embaro people have tons of great things for sale at much cheaper prices than in town-bring lots of cash to support them! Also ask for one of their tattoos-give gotten so many compliments! Bring cash and wear water shoes.
This tour exceeded my expectations in every way. Alci, our guide was so incredible. He even got into waterfall clothes to help us get the photos we wanted! We noticed no other guides were getting in :) the kayaking was easy and very enjoyable. And the village was amazing! We loved the dancing and the food and the tattoos. We had a blast! Don’t skip this tour and ask for Alci! A tip: bring WATER SHOES. You walk in a lot of water and the waterfall is sharp and spiky. They are necessary!
Alci was THE best!!! He was SO patient with me taking photos and took my photo at least 100 times. This far exceeded my expectations. I could not have asked for more. Do NOT wear flip flops. You need to be able to hike moderate levels. Tevas or keens would be the ideal shoe to wear. But our tour guide was THE BEST

What an incredible experience visiting the Embera Village! We made our trip back in March, and the memories are still so vivid—it was truly one of the highlights of our time in Panama. From the moment we were picked up at our hotel, our guide Dan Taylor made the day special. The drive itself was so enjoyable as he shared fascinating stories and insights that kept us entertained the entire way. Once we arrived, we hopped on a boat and headed to the waterfalls first. The falls were absolutely breathtaking — one of those places that makes you stop and simply take it all in. From there, we continued on to the Embera community where we received the warmest welcome with live music and beautiful flowers. The Embera people generously shared their culture and traditions with us, and treated us to a delicious meal of freshly fried fish, plantains, and a platter overflowing with fresh fruit. Everything was so fresh and flavorful! The entertainment was another highlight. The community performed traditional dances for us and then invited us to join in the fun. There was so much laughter and joy. The little kids were absolutely adorable, and it was especially heartwarming to see Dan thoughtfully bring treats for them. This was much more than a tour—it was a meaningful cultural experience filled with beautiful scenery, wonderful people, delicious food, and unforgettable memories.
