Ze halen je om ongeveer 4.00 uur 's ochtends op van je hotel, je moet klaar wachten bij de receptie. Nadat ze ze in het transport hebben opgehaald, gaan ze naar Cusipata waar ze de gelegenheid hebben om een paar minuten te stoppen om hun benen een beetje te ontspannen voordat ze het punt bereiken waar ze naar de heuvel van 7 kleuren of Vinicunca zullen lopen. Na de stop in Cusipata ga je verder naar waar je kunt genieten van je ontbijt en het avontuur naar de beroemde regenboogberg begint. Na het ontbijt beginnen ze aan de wandeling. Er zijn 4 kilometer vlak terrein bergopwaarts, naar de Majestic Rainbow Mountain; waar u kunt genieten van het panoramische uitzicht op de valleien, wilde lama's, alpaca's en vicuña's. Als je geluk hebt zie je de vlucht van de condor. Na het maken van prachtige foto's, moet je afdalen naar Cusipata om te genieten van een heerlijke lunch, ook bereid door de chef-kok. We nemen het transport dat op je wacht om je terug te brengen naar Cusco.

Geniet van het eerste deel van je reis gedurende 3 uur in een busje door het zuiden van de stad Cusco totdat je de stad Cusipata bereikt, waar je een heerlijk ontbijt zult hebben, en vervolg je reis om je trektocht naar Vinicunca te beginnen. Na een wandeling van ongeveer anderhalf uur bereik je het hoogste punt van je reis waar je de berg van kleuren en ook unieke landschappen in de wereld kunt waarderen. Nadat je van deze landschappen hebt genoten, keer je terug naar Cusipata waar een heerlijke lunch wacht en uiteindelijk neem je het busje om terug te keren naar de stad Cusco.

Experience went smoothly, with the guide Eduardo being a great communicator. Was attentive to everyone’s needs and extended help where needed. Even letting me borrow a sweater as I was unprepared for the weather of the mountain. Appreciated him and the experience was good overall.
An incredible experience at the Mountain of 7 Colors! We were lucky to have Eduardo as a guide and it could not have been better. From the first minute you can tell that he knows a lot and that he is passionate about what he does. What impressed me most was his ability to immediately identify each person in the group; he was super attentive to all of us at all times, adapting to everyone's pace. In addition, he explained super interesting facts and stories to us that go far beyond the typical visit and that he was under no obligation to tell. It is greatly appreciated to find such prepared and attentive professionals. 100% recommended!

First time doing the rainbow mountain tour and it was amazing! The hike was challenging due to being at 16,400 ft above sea level but nonetheless it was worth it. Everything went smoothly thanks to our guide Eduardo, he was attentive to everyone’s needs and was very helpful. Would recommend booking this tour with Eduardo!

Eduardo guided our Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley trek with Inka Altitude, and he was fantastic. The hike up to 5,200m is no joke, especially with the altitude, but Eduardo kept a great pace for the group, checked in on everyone regularly, and was endlessly patient and encouraging when things got tough. He clearly knows the mountain and the route really well, and made sure we all felt safe the whole way up and down. His energy and good humour made a genuinely hard day so much more enjoyable. Of everything I did in Cusco, this was the standout day, and a big part of that comes down to Eduardo. Can’t recommend him and Inka Altitude highly enough.
Had such a Good Time with Eduardo for this visit at the rainbow mountain!! Bring sunglasses, gloves, k-way and enjoy the view 🤩. Also ibuprofene the altitude can affect you
Had another incredible experience with Inka Altitude, this time visiting Vinicunca. Everything was flawlessly organized from start to finish. The early wake-up call and high altitude make it a challenging and tiring day, but reaching the top makes every step worth it. Those who wanted to could also visit the Red Valley nearby (for extra 30 Soles/person). Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, keeping us motivated and sharing great insights. Highly recommend booking your day trips with them!
We were a group of 9. We did 3 day trips with this company, including the Rainbow Mountains and the 7 Lakes. Simply flawless. Punctuality even at 4 a.m. It's nice to arrive before the crowds of tourists. Clear instructions, well-balanced historical information, comfortable Mercedes vehicle. The local meals were satisfactory. Edouardo our guide is passionate, kind, experienced, and friendly. Thank you (Papa Sherpa!)
