Onze dag begint met een bezoek aan Paarl waar u wordt getroffen door de schoonheid van de Vallei, de ongerepte blauwe lucht, de glooiende wijngaarden en de Parel van Paarl hoog boven de vallei. Paarl haalde het nieuws toen president Mandela werd vrijgelaten uit de gevangenis Groot Drakenstein (voorheen bekend als Victor Verster gevangenis). We genieten van een wijnproeverij op een van de lokale landgoederen. Vanuit Paarl rijden we verder naar het noordwesten naar het mooie dorpje Franschhoek, gesticht in 1688 door Franse immigranten die op de vlucht waren voor de religieuze vervolging van de Hugenoten in Europa. Een gedenkteken in de stad herdenkt de komst van deze vroege kolonisten die hielpen bij de ontwikkeling van de wijnen gezocht door Napoleon, Bismarck en royalty's zoals Edward VII, de prins van Wales. Hier stoppen we voor de lunch en nog een wijnproeverij bij een lokale wijngaard. Daarna gaan we naar Stellenbosch, de op één na oudste stad van Zuid-Afrika en genieten van een laatste wijnproeverij voordat we terugkeren naar Kaapstad.

- Autostoeltjes zijn onder voorbehoud van beschikbaarheid op het moment van boeken.
- Ouders mogen een eigen autostoeltje meenemen.
- Als gasten hun eigen weg naar een vermeld opstappunt maken, moeten ze voldoende reistijd (d.w.z.... vertragingen in het verkeer etc...) toestaan om op tijd bij het opstappunt te zijn voor het ophalen.
- Als gasten niet op de geplande vertrektijd arriveren, zal de tour vertrekken en zal er geen restitutie worden gegeven.

The experience was very smoothly offered and the itinerary was all we could have hoped for. Three very different wineries all charming and with beautiful surroundings. The tastings were interesting with a good coverage of what flavours to experience. The staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Our driver and guide for the trip was very helpful, friendly and informative about the history of the wine estates and also about South African culture. A very enjoyable day and we can recommend wholeheartedly to others.

Disappointing. Billed as a three winery tour, we only visited 2. We were pressured into only visiting 2 by the guide. It was clear that there was insufficient time to visit 3 wine farms. The first farm was excellent. Well prepared, we were guided through the wines and given a tour. The second at Franschhoek was poor. We were seated at a table and given 3 wines, only 3 of which were described to us. This We should receive partial reimbursement since we only visited 2 of the 3 wineries. I would not recommend this tour.

I wish I could give 10 stars. Extremely happy with the wine tasting tour and I don’t drink wine. Our guide Ivan was superb. He told us all about each area we drove through. The wine was a bonus.

Wonderful driver who was very knowledgeable accommodating and professional. Also felt very safe when he was driving. The wine tasting and pairings were everything that I imagined. Staff at wineries also knowledgeable and delightful.
Eddie, our driver and tour guide, was informative, friendly, courteous and very organised. We visited 3 wineries and had a day out that exceeded our expectations. Stellenbosch is a beautiful wine growing area and the wineries and wine were excellent.

I had an all day excursions the day before the wine tour and was so tired I almost cancelled. I am soooooo happy I did not. It was an amazing experience. Everything was perfect....from the tour guide to the wine to the locations. The views can not be described in words you have to see them. Absolutely Amazing! Definitely worth the money. Hopefully you will get Ashley, he was nice and informative and so patient with our small group.
