A most enjoyable day trip. The stop at the dunes was followed by our bike ride from Vina del Mar to Valparaiso; an (easy) walk along the seafront which allows you to soak up the atmosphere of the coast. A stop for lunch in a restaurant overlooking Valparaiso and the coast topped it all off. Very pleasant!
Our family of four including two boys ages 12 and 17 did this fantastic tour with our great tour guide, Jaime, and our driver, Jorge. I believe a lot of people come to Chile and neglect to checkout the coast, but the coast of Chile is so unique and like no other coast line or beach area. From the starting point in Concon at the sand dunes and ending in one of the most unique port towns, Valparaiso, with Vina del Mar in between from the seat of a bicycle is beyond special and not to be missed. By the time we reached Valparaiso and enjoyed a delicious lunch, our kids preferred a more brief walking tour so, Jorge and Jaime took us on a great ride through Valparaiso which definitely gave the full experience. Furthermore, it was a beautiful drive from Santiago helping us to see so much more of a beautiful country. Thank you to Patricio for his excellent communication to arrange our tour!!
