Gallipoli is een ontroerende ervaring voor alle bezoekers van Turkije, vooral voor degenen die de leden van het Australische en Nieuw-Zeelandse Legerkorps (ANZAC) willen gedenken die in Gallipoli hebben gevochten.

Je ziet hier de oorlogsmonumenten en het museum als eerbetoon aan de vele slachtoffers in de Slag bij de Eerste Wereldoorlog in Dardanellen. Een bezoek aan Gallipoli is een ontroerende ervaring voor alle bezoekers van Turkije, met name voor degenen die de leden van het Australische en Nieuw-Zeelandse legerkorps (ANZAC) willen eren die in Gallipoli hebben gevochten. A long day but a good day. Boruk was entertaining but also knew his stuff. He provided such detailed background and facts about the peninsula and the Anzac campaign that we really learnt a lot. The roadhouses that we stopped at each way were clean and efficient and the food offerings were authentic and delicious.
A very memorable experience it was very confronting and sad to see the graves of so many young men. The guide took us to all the sites that we have heard about and explained the landing sites and battlefields in great detail. It was a long day but definitely a highlight of our trip.
I had expected there to be way less visitors than were actually present. The memorial are all moving and very well maintained. The guide did a good job describing the fiasco that was Gallipoli. What a waste of lives on both sides. As a Kiwi the visit fullfilled a lifetime interest in seeing the location where it actually happened.

A great day for any kiwi or Aussie. The trip from Istanbul was comfortable and we spent nearly five hours at the battle site. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. A good value for money activity and hats off to the crowded House Tour company

As Brits it was good to accompany so many Australians and not let cricket interfere with honouring the fallen (too much). Good to see the Indian army’s involvement properly remembered too. Our guide was very informative and responsive to our questions. Such a beautiful resting place in harrowing contrast to the trauma and tragedy these men endured.

The tour was amazing! The company was very professional and on time with our hotel pick up, the bus had wifi which was good for the long drive to and from Istanbul. Our tour guide Bulent, was very knowledgeable about everything to do with the Gallipoli Peninsula and WW1 as well as a very nice guy! Highly recommend this tour!

Picked up 7am dropped off at hotel 23.30 big day our drivers gave us no info re planned stops on the way to Gallipoli spoke only Turkish. Had to be asked continuously to turn on the air cond in the mini bus.Otherwise the day was 10 out of 10 awesome guide ,lunch ok info on arrival gr8.
<p>It is a very long way to travel. The guide is very good and the drivers are careful. The let down was the very basic lunch provided and the meals at the comfort stops on the way to and from.</p>
