Dit is waar onze ervaring zal beginnen. We ontmoeten elkaar bij Starbucks. Cinelandia is een gebied waar enkele van de mooiste gebouwen in Rio staan. Theatro Municipal, Biblioteca Nacional, Museu Nacional de Artes en de oude federale gebouwen van het Supremo-tribunaal.
Hier bezoeken we het eerste openbare park in Latijns-Amerika.
Hier bezoeken we de wereldberoemde Selaron Steps. Dit verbazingwekkende kunstwerk is 125 meter lang met meer dan 2000 tegels.
Hier zien we een technisch wonder uit de 18e eeuw. Dit wateraquaduct werd gebruikt om de stad van water te voorzien en wordt nu gebruikt door de Bondinho de Santa Teresa.
Hier bezoeken we een zeer unieke en andere kathedraal.
De Koninklijke Portugese Leeszaal is echt een prachtige plek, maar het kan ongelooflijk druk worden met lange rijen. Dit kan invloed hebben op hoeveel tijd we binnen kunnen doorbrengen. Om onze tour op schema te houden, kunnen we misschien alleen de buitenkant van het gebouw zien.

Het klooster van São Bento do Rio de Janeiro is een historisch klooster gelegen op Morro de São Bento, in het centrum van de stad Rio de Janeiro. Het is een van de belangrijkste monumenten van koloniale kunst in de stad en op het platteland.
We passeren het Mauá-plein op weg naar de beroemde Kobra Graffiti.

De Cais do Valongo (Valongo-werf) is een archeologische vindplaats in het havengebied van Rio de Janeiro, Brazilië. Het heeft een immense historische en spirituele betekenis omdat het de belangrijkste landingsplaats en handelscentrum was voor tot slaaf gemaakte Afrikanen die tussen 1811 en 1831 naar Brazilië werden gebracht.
