Vanuit Straatsburg: De mooiste kerstmarkten van de Elzas
Beschrijving
Onze eerste stop is het dorp Riquewihr, een typisch dorp aan de wijnroute: de gevels en monumenten zijn verlicht en de decoraties verbazen jong en oud. Met ogen vol licht en buiken vol gaan we opnieuw op de wijnroute voor een doorsteek van kleine Elzasser dorpjes. Onze bus stopt dan in Kaysersberg, om dit middeleeuwse dorp in de kleuren van Kerstmis te ontdekken. De kerstmarkt van Kaysersberg verwelkomt u traditioneel op alle vier de adventsweekenden. De andere dagen van de week vind je er een concentraat van de Elzas: een historisch stadscentrum vol charme met prachtige oude vakwerkhuizen. Het is dan tijd om te vertrekken om naar de beroemde stad Colmar te gaan, waar verschillende kerstmarkten verspreid over de stad zijn en verschillende sferen creëren, afhankelijk van de buurt. U zult in alle vrijheid kunnen genieten van drie uur bezoek, onderbroken door proeverijen van seizoensgebonden delicatessen.

A very well spent day in Strasbourg to see the Christmas lights. Very beautiful streets and there were not many people which allowed to contemplate much better all the decorations.

The goods offered in Colmar and Kaysersberg are handmade and of high quality. Prices are reasonable, but that is subjective. The gourmet market I did not find worth experiencing.The organization with the buses , which go to the surrounding villages is great. The decoration of the houses is beautiful. However, it must be said that crowds are pushing through Colmar on Saturday. If you don't care, this is the place.
Al long but fun day! We hit four Christmas Markets, each unique. The drive was pleasant and informational; headphones provided for recorded history and the guide provided historical commentary as well. I would definitely go on the trip again.
This was my favorite excursion I have ever done. Our guide was fantastic. Although the towns were very crowded, our guide made sure we saw as much as possible. I would highly recommend this tour.
I have seen a lot of Christmas Markets or Christmas Towns, but this by far is one of the best. Many stalls, places, food, and everything you want in a Christmas Market is here. If you do come, make sure you make dinner reservations as the crowds are big. Lots of fun for the family and kids of all ages. Put this one on your list for this year or next. It's a must see.
