The write-up doesn’t mention the tour of the park includes almost 8 kms of hiking up and down the hills surrounding the lakes and across rough-hewn wooden walkways. This was a challenge for my newly replaced knee. Also, the bus was definitely older, with most seats having broken parts while the sound system was mostly unintelligible because of a bad mic and an overly loud a/c unit. Grayline should overhaul or replace this bus.

We recently traveled to Croatia and booked a number of guided tours with Gray Line. Every tour was excellent. Knowledgeable guides to escort you around. We booked Plitvice NP and Barisa was a fabulous guide. We also booked Dubrovnik and 5 island hopping on a speedboat (our favourite tour). All staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
The guide, Barisa, was very good and pleasant. He made the excursion a much better walk, moving skillfully to be in the best spots at the right time. Thank you.
Long bus trip from Split but well worth it! A super comfy air conditioned Coach bus. Very safe driver. Easy to sleep on if you need it! Super funny and knowledgable guide Barry. Barry was amazing! We got great views of the lakes and waterfalls. We hopped on a few boats through the lakes too! I definitely recommend :)
Barry (Barisia) was very personable, helpful, and most of all knowledgeable. He had multiple years of experience guiding tours within the park and knew everything you could possibly want to know about the park. I was very impressed. Would highly recommend.
We had the most wonderful day, and Frane was the greatest tour guide ever! Absolutely hilarious and very knowledgeable. The whole trip there flew by as he filled us in on so much history of Croatia and Europe overall. And the time at the park was perfect and breathtaking. Would highly recommend to anyone!
It was a unique experience from beginning to end! The landscapes are magnificent and breathtaking! Our was great, always ready to explain and clarify our doubts! I recommend the experience!
Barisa was an excellent guide!! We appreciated the experience with a guide instead of a self guided tour because otherwise we wouldn’t have known the history/science about the park; he was extremely knowledge but also hilarious and engaging with our group! The park was insanely beautiful and definitely a must do. We did have a three hour bus ride from Split but it was absolutely worth the trip and Barisa made it all the more special!! Would definitely recommend booking this excursion !!
The visit was excellent. Our guide Garry was very helpful, friendly and fun. Gave excellent tips about Croatia and lots of historical information. The Lakes are an unforgettable experience.
