Vanuit Santo Domingo: Saona-eiland voor catamaran met kleine groepen

We halen je op bij ons ontmoetingspunt in het koloniale gebied om naar Bayahibe te vertrekken. Daar aangekomen stappen we op een boot richting Saona Island en halverwege maken we een korte stop bij een plaats genaamd Blue Lagoon. Op deze zandbank midden in het water heb je 40 minuten de tijd om te ontspannen. Ook zullen we niet ver weg een zeesterrenreservaat midden in de Caribische Zee zien. Ze zijn er in alle kleuren! Dan komen we eindelijk aan op het eiland Saona, waar je twee uur en 45 minuten vrije tijd hebt om dit tropische paradijs te verkennen. Koraalriffen en uitgestrekte stranden vol kokospalmen en fijn goudkleurig zand wachten op je. Om 13.00 uur ontmoeten we elkaar op het strand van Palmera Turística om onze batterijen op te laden met een lunchbuffet waar je pasta, salades en rijst kunt eten. Genieten! Daarna gaan we aan boord van een catamaran om de terugweg te maken terwijl we plezier hebben met de entertainers, muziek, een open bar met frisdranken en een zeer feestelijke sfeer.

Victor is amazing he speaks many languages there was a vibe and amazing highlights like the sandbar and the starfish it was a beautiful experience
It is about a three hours bus ride to the boats and small group refers to the size of the bus not the tour. The boats (motor, catamaran, motor, motor again, catamaran and motor, there is a lot of getting on and off but the crew are great) hold close to a 100 people and the trip itself is an experience, especially the dancing on thee way back. The beach is lovely and for a day excursion from the city it is worth it.
This was an amzing excursion. From the start having a great driver who waited the entire time for us, to the excursion itself party on the boat was amazing
