The Rock is een Brits overzees gebied gelegen op een klein schiereiland op de zuidelijke punt van het Iberisch schiereiland, grenzend aan alleen Spanje. Het is historisch erkend als het meest zuidelijke punt van Europa en ligt aan het westelijke uiteinde van de Middellandse Zee, het vormen van een van de oude kolommen van Hercules. De Rock bestaat voornamelijk uit Jurassic kalksteen, daterend van ongeveer 200 miljoen jaar geleden. Bij aankomst bezoeken we de beroemde Apes’ Den en verkennen we de prachtige Saint Michael’s Caves. Daarna kunt u belastingvrij winkelen in Main Street of verborgen pareltjes ontdekken, zoals het Gibraltar Museum of de smalle straatjes en historische gebouwen van de oude stad. If what you want is a tour to get to know things and have them tell you and show you what Gibraltar is really like, this is not your tour; it is limited to telling you stories on the bus to Gibraltar and when you arrive there they put you on a minibus with a guy who doesn't even say good morning to you and just plays an audio recording for you, he doesn't even tell you how much time you have, what to do, etc.

We liked the tour very much. Miguel Ángel and Vanessa were incredibly friendly and took excellent care of us. All information was explained very clearly in both Spanish and English. The minibus ride to the caves, the Barbary macaques, and Europa Point was also a real highlight. The tour was excellently organized and very varied. It was an all-around successful and eventful day that was absolutely worth it. We returned home with many beautiful impressions and can recommend this tour without reservation. Thank you very much for this great experience!

The collection from Fuengirola was punctual. Super guide Vanesa who was in control of things and she very welcoming. We had bought the ‘Rock tour’. Time was barely on top, it created some confusion, as we had not got our access bracelet to St. Michael’s Cave, we had to hurry a little, even though we got a little extra time. It cost the shopping time in town. Thanks to the driver who maneuvered the minibus around Gibraltar, he had complete control. More time can always be spent, but overall a great experience 😁 Alex and Dorthe

The transportation with David and the tour guide with Covi were excellent; both did things very well. However, the time given to be in St. Michael's Cave and to be at the ape's den is too short, compared to the time given for shopping in the center. I literally had to run to be able to see the cave and be able to see the apes; I would have liked to be able to enjoy more time on those activities than time for shopping, since my interest was in seeing those places and, because of the name of the tour, I thought it was the main activity.

The trip was well organized and the guide was great 😃 It took around 2,5h to get from Benalmadena to Gibraltar with one stop for toilet and quick shopping. Return trip took approx 2h without stops. We received printed maps and clear instructions on our activities, and the guide gave an overview of the history of Gibraltar. The rock tour was OK, but a little bit too short. We had only 10 minutes at Europa Point, 20 minutes at St. Michael's Cave, and around 5 minutes at the Apes Den. There were also some quick stops to take pictures of some tourists spots, but without leaving the bus. We didn't visit the glass Skywalk, nor the Windsor Suspension Bridge which I was hoping for ☹️ Overall the rock tour took 1,5h and later we had 3 hours to spend in the vicinity of the Main Street where we could eat something and buy souvenirs.

The guide and driver were helpful. The tour of the rock very interesting. The tour provides plenty of time at Gibraltar to eat and look at the shops. The low rating relates to the long journey of 4 hours from leaving Malaga to the bus parking in Gibraltar. One hour going through the border control and one hour picking up at several high traffic locations in Costa del Sol. The tour company has no control over crossing the border but should structure the tour to reduce the amount of time spend in traffic going through the towns in Costa del Sol when the majority of people started in Malaga.

The tour achieved the purpose; however, the bus in which we were transported had a very bad audio that even the guide was uncomfortable to give us the instructions. Also, the Spanish speakers were separated on another bus with a local guide, who continued pulling in English for giving priority to an Italian couple. For lack of communication we could not use the glass terrace.
