Ik haal je op in het centrum van Malaga met het busje en we gaan naar Frigiliana. Van daaruit zullen we het dorp en enkele avocadoplantage doorkruisen. Als we door verschillende gewassen lopen, bereiken we het Arabische irrigatiekanaal dat in de kloof van de Higueron-rivier komt. We lopen door het oude Arabische irrigatiekanaal om het natuurpark binnen te komen. We zullen leren over de manier van leven en we zullen het landschap van het natuurpark Sierra Alhama, Tejeda en Almijara interpreteren: de geologie, de dieren, planten ... We stoppen bij de meest spectaculaire uitkijkpunten om foto's te maken. Aan het einde van de wandeling bezoeken we Frigiliana, waarschijnlijk het mooiste dorp van Andalusië. Als we klaar zijn, doen we een wijnproeverij in een kelder. Dit is een perfecte wandeling om je helemaal onder te dompelen in het platteland en om het echte Malaga te begrijpen. Het is een technisch makkelijke wandeling met slechts een deel waar u uw voeten in het water moet steken gedurende 20 meter. BLIJF JE IN TORREMOLINOS, BENALMADENA OF FUENGIROLA? HET LAATSTE TREINSTATION IN MALAGA ("ALAMEDA") IS SLECHTS TWEE MINUTEN LOPEN NAAR HET VERGADERPUNT.

Breathtaking scenic vistas, interesting information from our guide Alfonso. Alfonso said this was an “easy” hike. I would describe it as strenuous: steep ascents (according to my Fitbit, we climbed the equivalent of 45 stories), rocky paths, and a walk for perhaps a mile along a sometimes crumbly concrete irrigation channel with only a wire fence between you and the ground far below. All that being said, I did this while one week shy of my 74th birthday, and I made it. There was also the support and camaraderie of the other hikers, which was fostered by Alfonso. All in all, an enjoyable and challenging experience.

We have stayed in Frigiliana twice now but as we were staying in Malaga this time, decided to book the walking tour, as there were parts of Frigiliana we had not explored previously. We had a great time with a lovely little group from Norway and the USA. Alfonso was a very knowledgeable and attentive tour guide. Would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone who likes walking in the outdoors.

The guide picked us up in Malaga and then carried out a pleasant tour of 5.5 hours with some hilly hiking, a walk in a nice little village that ended with a wine tasting and late return home.

Alfonso brought us on a beautiful hike in the mountains on the old Arab aqueducts overlooking the beautiful white washed town of Frigilillana. He explained the history of the town, looked at trees growing papaya, avocado, bananas, chirimoya, and olives. Then we tasted wine with tapas at a local bodega. It was a wonderful trip and Alfonso is a great guide. Highly recommend. .

UNPROFESSIONAL. I scheduled this tour over a month ago and I get an email telling me that basically told they are not "touring" that day. Cannot imagine why they did not block the day off on the calendar instead of waiting a week and a half until we take out trip.
We are very sorry to read this review. The path will be closed by the municipality on september the 20th in order to restore it. The trip was cancelled with 1 month in advance. The client threatened us with a bad review and here it is. Whenever you work in nature, there are some metheorological events, rockslides, clousures, etc which do not depend on us.
We enjoyed the hike. The local guide Alfonso was great! Provided some history and showed us around fringila and took some great photos to get to know the area. The wine and cellar/tapas weren’t extraordinary but to walk around and know something new in a less crowded environment was cool.
