This was THE BEST guide/tour we've not only had in Morocco, but one of the best we've ever experienced! Abi (I hope I spelt it correctly) was an incredibly kind, knowledgeable and unbelievably accommodating man. This is NOT a typical "take you to this shop for a commission" kind of tour, nowhere near. He took us to corners of Fes which we would never have been able to see for ourselves. We visited local bakeries, visited narrow alleys completely away from the normal tourist trail. We spoke to locals along the street, he gave us HONEST and accurate guidance - which scams to avoid, which shops sold fake merchandise and which were legitimate, and highlighted the tiniest details around us that we would have completely missed or never even noticed. He did not look at his watch once, he happily guided us at our own pace and accommodated us throughout every step. Our only regret is that he was not our guide in Marrakech and for the Sahara tour. If I could, I would hire him for our entire time in Morocco. The best and only way you should experience Fes is under the guidance of this man.

We were fortunate to have Abbi as our guide due to his many years of experience. He was kind, accommodating, and attentive to our interests and needs. The temperature was 108 degrees, but he understood the Medina so well that we rarely felt uncomfortable. We explored the essentials of the university and tannery, enjoyed great panoramic views, learned a little history, discovered hidden gems throughout the Medina, and made friends all along the way. I am so glad we took this tour. I recommend it to everyone.

Abdul met us at 10 am sharp and led us through Fes in what felt like "behind the scenes access". He led us through the maze of the Medina and helped us find some amazing treasures while ensuring we were not pressured. We went to areas of the city that we would not have. He gave excellent guidance on pricing and we felt very comfortable with the vendors he recommended. He was also able to help suggest and negotiate alternate accommodations as we had an unexpected issue with ours. He was willing to assist us with anything we needed and was well known along the street of Fes. He was kind and knowledgeable with a great sense of humour - would highly recommend this tour - thanks Abdul!

Absolutely fantastic, the night before was less than ideal and Abdul saved our visit. He was like the king of Fes. No matter where we were in the city people knew him. And we got some things for free because he was with us. He even stayed with us for hours after the tour and helped us book a new place to stay for the rest of our trip. The tour itself was amazing too. It felt like we saw everything we needed to see in the city, it was a great cultural experience.

Fantastic tour! Highly recommend - we were picked up by Abi at 10am, and weren't done with our tour until 5:30 that night...and we could have gone longer! He took us through small streets and to locations we wouldn't have found on our own, plus the usual/promised spots...tannery, pottery, rugs, food stalls. The pressure to buy was low, and Abi served as our guide for what reasonable prices were and made sure we knew we didn't need to purchase anything we didn't want to. Abi was super knowledgeable and friendly and fun to be with! 10/10 would do again the next time I'm in Fes.

Abdul was our tour guide in February 2026. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, caring, patient and accommodating. He picked us up from our Riad. He took us to many places and explained the history and details behind them. We were able to visit the city in depth and learned a lot from him. He was able to provide us recommendation and showed us around. He even asked if there was any places we would like to visit, which we appreciated. We finished visiting all the places we wanted to visit on this tour. We felt very safe walking around too. Although the tour is a bit on the pricer side, it is totally worth it. Without the tour, the experience would be completely different and we would be missing out the whole history behind it. We highly recommend it and we had lots of fun!!!!

I would highly recommend this tour as the best way to see Fes. My guide Youssef was excellent. He was friendly, knowledgeable and spoke very good English. We saw so many interesting parts of the medina (walking tour) and various other amazing viewpoints and sights around the outside (car tour with lots of stops). I also liked that he gave me time to myself to enjoy the lovely Jardin Jnane Sybil and a beautiful madrassa inside the medina, as well as to have some rest and refreshment on a rooftop terrace of a nice restaurant. As part of the tour we visited various cooperatives to see how some of the local goods (ceramics, leather goods, argan oil products) were made. These visits were interesting; they did not take too long and I never felt under any pressure to buy anything or stay longer than necessary. Thanks to Youssef (guide) and Mohammed (driver) for a fascinating and memorable day!

My guide was Abdellatif Maskine -- exceptional! We had a tight timeline, and he navigated the maze of souks perfectly. He seemed to know everyone -- and everyone knew him. We ran a little late to catch my train, so he took me on his motorbike (with a big roller bag on my arm!) to the train station, zipping through traffic like a pro. I feel like I made a great friend and can't wait to return.
