We ontmoeten je in je hotel in Fez om 10:00, de medina en souks, de beroemde looierijen, moskeeën en madrasas, de beroemde aardewerkovens in Fez, een rondleiding langs de muren met tal van Babs en bezoek het beroemde Marokkaanse Museum Kunst. We beginnen onze wandeling door het labyrint van de medina van Fez (UNESCO werelderfgoed) van de Es Sebbaghine met zijn kleurrijke straat van ververs, koperblazers en koperwerkers in es-Seffarine door de kronkelende straatjes van de Grote Moskee el-Quarawiyyin en de Universiteit, een reis naar het verleden naar de prachtige moskee en souk el-Atterine naast aromatische kruiden en groenten, prachtige Medersa el-Atterine, wijken en de Kissaria Draz en beroemde leerlooierijen aan de oever van de Oued Fez.

We truly enjoyed our no shopping tour with Muhammed, who led us through both historical monuments and the dizzying alleys in the Medina. Muhammed is thoughtful and hospitable, and he shared with us his perspectives of Moroccan history and its place in both ancient and modern worlds. Even though it is perfectly safe to navigate the souks on our own, having Muhammed with us meant that we weren’t haggled and followed by illegal guides and shopkeepers. It made the experience more relaxed and enjoyable!!

We had Armine as our guide and he was really lovely. It was our last day in Morocco and a perfect way to finish our stay. I particularly liked the no shopping part rather it was very much a historical/cultural tour of Fes. Armine was very knowledgeable but more importantly it didn’t feel like we were being talked at all the time and felt like we had made a friend. Thanks so much Armine!

This was a wonderful and thoughtful tour. Mohammad took the time to explain the history of Fez, gave us great insight as to the daily lives of people in Morocco, and he was professional and kind. This was a cultural tour and we got to see all the beautiful sites of Fez. We saw a panoramic view of Fez, walked around the medina, saw the oldest University in the world, and got to learn that Fez founded the first mental health hospital in the world. We love to learn and this tour did not disappoint. It exceeded our expectations. Most importantly, Mohammad was true to his word, this was NOT A SHOPPING TOUR. We appreciated this so much because my only criticism about Fez was the constant pushiness of unqualified tour guides. Mohammad was professional and focused on the history and culture and never once took us to a shop to purchase anything. He had the right pace when we walked around the city, which allowed me to take a crazy amount of photos and to take our time browsing the buildings and stores. He answered all of our questions and was patient with us when we wanted more time to explore a site. I highly recommend Mohammad. We felt safe, learned a lot, and most importantly, we felt like we made a new friend.

Superb visit to the medina and outside the medina, very complete, many historical and cultural explanations provided by Mohamed. No incentive to visit the shops. The pace of the visit was pleasant, we highly recommend this discovery of Fez with Mohamed.

We spent the whole day discovering the Medina of Fez guided by the talented Mohammed, who made us discover all the hidden treasures of this fascinating city. Absolutely recommended for friendliness and preparation, it is worth relying on him to quickly orient himself and visit all the places not to be missed.

Fascinating tour through the most beautiful places of the Medina. Mohammed is a very warm and experienced guide who leaves no questions unanswered. During the tour I was able to gather many impressions about the historical Fez but also learn a lot about Islamic history and culture. Everything from the wooden museum to the tannery to the Koran school was there. Highly recommended!

During our stay in Fez through the Welcoming of our Riad Taha (highly recommended) we got to know Medina Tours with which we organized some activities including the tour of Fez without shopping that allowed us to be guided in a tour that allowed us to see the main sites of interest of the city and to immerse ourselves in the multicolored reality of the Medina, avoiding moments of crowding and getting in touch with small local realities that for us without Medina Tours it would have been impossible to know; needless to say that our guide Mohammed speaks perfect Italian, always punctual and available to all our requests for explanations on the culture and history of this beautiful city
