Fatima, Batalha en Nazaré, hele dag vanuit Coimbra

Tijdens deze tour bezoeken we de meest populaire plaatsen ten zuidwesten van Coimbra. In Fátima gaan we naar Aljustrel, de plaats waar de kleine herders woonden en in het Heiligdom bezoeken we de Basilieken en de Apparições Kapel. We gaan verder naar Batalha om het klooster van Santa Maria da Vitória te bezoeken. Imposant, het valt op door zijn monumentaliteit en de stenen tracering aan de buitenkant, merken die het gemakkelijk herkenbaar maken. Na Batalha rijden we richting de zee, naar het dorp Nazaré waar we onze bezoeken aan het Sanctuary, Sítio, Northern Beach beginnen om de golven te bekijken en eindigen in het labyrint en de smalle straatjes van het dorp. Op een nader overeen te komen tijdstip keren we terug naar het startpunt, Coimbra.

We had a wonderful time on this tour. It includes so many wonderful stops and you get to see all the highlights of the area. Our guide Pedro was exceptional. He was extremely knowledgeable about the area and it's history! I would highly recommend this tour - ask for Pedro!

Outstanding day trip based out of Coimbra! Cool to see the religious / spiritual history of Fatima, the historical monastery at Batalha and the incredible waves and surf spots at Nazare! Pedro was an excellent and knowledgeable guide! He navigated the wind and the rain at Nazare like the professional he is and found us a great spot for lunch!! He even gave us some fantastic dinner suggestions when back in Coimbra. Would highly recommend this excursion for anyone looking for a day trip in central Portugal.
