Rina's Cave en Koufonisia zijn de perfecte bestemmingen om te zwemmen, plezier te maken en te ontspannen! We varen langs de westkust van Naxos en in ongeveer 1,5 uur bereiken we Rina's Cave. We stoppen daar gedurende 1 uur waar je in de grot kunt zwemmen, van bovenaf kunt duiken als je avontuurlijk genoeg bent, naar het nabijgelegen kiezelstrand kunt stappen waar de unieke waterbron zich bevindt. Het is een prachtige plek die alleen over zee bereikbaar is! De volgende stop is Kato Koufonisi en we zullen een heerlijke bbq-lunchpauze hebben met een verscheidenheid aan delicatessen, huisgemaakt met lokale Naxiaanse producten en tal van opties voor vegetariërs/veganisten, vergezeld van lokale wijn, water en frisdranken. De volgende stop is Ano Koufonissi voor een stop van 2 uur, waar u vrij bent om op eigen gelegenheid door het dorp te wandelen, te zwemmen bij de nabijgelegen stranden of tegen een lage prijs een zeetaxi te nemen die u voor een kort bezoek aan andere stranden brengt. We vertrekken om ongeveer 17.15 uur en zijn om 19:00 uur terug in de haven van Agia Anna

Rina Cave ligt aan een ongerept strand met exotisch groen water, in het Kalandos-gebied, aan de zuidkust van het eiland. De grot, die aan de rechterkant van het strand ligt, heeft enkele vogelnesten, terwijl aan de linkerkant van de grot een bron met zoet water ligt.
Het landschap hier is magisch! De onwerkelijke turquoise wateren, het gouden zand en de rustige sfeer gecombineerd met de Cycladische architectuur creëren een waar wonder. Het paradijselijke eiland!
Αno Koufonisi is het kleinste bewoonde eiland van de Cycladen. Duik in de boeiende geschiedenis, met zeegrotten waar het naar verluidt ooit een toevluchtsoord heeft geboden aan gedurfde piraten. Deze geliefde alternatieve bestemming betovert met zijn betoverende stranden en nodigt u uit om te genieten van de warmte van de zon en u over te geven aan de onmiskenbare charme van het eiland.

A very long day sailing. The boat was hugely overcrowded, the snorkel masks were ALL broken and nobody cared. Average lunch. 3 hours on Koufanisia which was beautiful but most of the little shops were closed. The water was stunning, the cave was cool but the boat and the hours travelling made for an exhausting day.

What a wonderful experience and day! The boat trip was beautiful (go early to grab a cushion on the boat front to get sun) to the cave and island. The crew was friendly, helpful, and the lunch was delicious!!! They provide swim noodles and snorkel items at the cave and swim spot to use if you’d like. This was a very nice day. Highly recommend.

Good: the BBQ was tasty and there was plenty. The staff was very kind. There was plenty of wine and water to drink which were included in the ticket. Should be noted: We spent a long time swimming at a random spot and then 3 hours on an island and then a very slow boat ride to, from, and in-between. This left only 30ish minutes for the cave which was the reason I booked the tour. The bathrooms were a mess as well.

Everything was perfect. Crew on board was fantastic. Food has been amazing and in good quantity. Complete with a double snack (watermelon and cake) during our journey back. The best of the best on Mikros Kosmos. A pleasure trip with typical songs and no loud or annoying music.

I wrote to Tripadvisor and Viator, but no reply , so I leave a review hoping to take this message into account. I booked on your website this excursion for Sunday 06 July 2025 on 12 June for an amount of 150 € for two ( 2 x 75 € ) and I was collected the next day. I haven't received any confirmation, let alone electronic tickets. At 10 days, I don't know...... I booked 4 more between 30 June and 08 July and I did not encounter any problem. Boat is beautiful. Food is excellent and plentiful. Our captain and crew were delightful. All three locations we went to were true highlights we would recommend everyone visit… if you want to bask in the bluest of clear waters. Bring a towel and waterproof shoes. Winds are high and the salt water spiky at times but the view from the front is incredible!

Rhina’s cave is unforgettable. The clear blue water is absolutely gorgeous. The food was simple but delicious. Do not expect any fancy service. Two notes. 1) We spent 1h at the cave and 2h30 at Koufonisia. The remaining 5-6h was traveling. 2) Communication with the crew was not the strong side. No safety instructions were given and no briefing of the ride. We received no tips on what to do while in Koufonisia. When anchoring by Rhina’s cave, the crew started yelling at us to sit down. We only understood that we could stand up again when we saw Greek tourists jumping in the water.
The best part of the tour was swimming in the Rina cave. We stayed there maybe an hour. Lunch was served there. The food selection was very average with pork skewers and a sausage dish in tomato sauce of sorts. There was a selection of pasta and green salad with fried potatoes. It was just ok. Then we went to Koufonisia. It was a small village with a nice beach and lovely crystal waters. We were there for 3 hours which was way too long. It was a nice experience but nothing to rave about.
The boat was very comfortable with many options for shade and sun loungers. Sailing to Rina Cave and to Koufonisia was scenic and beautiful. Lunch on the boat was pretty good. Stop at Koufonisia was enjoyable for the pretty beach but there was no option for shade and we had to rent beach chairs and umbrella for 15 euros per person. There is nothing to do in the port, was dropped off there for 3.5 hours which was too long. Had to provide our own transportation to and from Agia Anna port. Told to be there at 9am and finished at 7pm. Long day for us.
