Ervaar het westen van het prachtige eiland Madeira met vriendelijke en professionele gidsen. Tijdens deze 8 uur durende tour nemen we u mee naar fantastische en unieke plaatsen in de wereld. Deze excursie is bijna verplicht wanneer u het eiland Madeira bezoekt. Het is het echt waard.

Cape Girão (Girão-Kaap) is de grootste rots van Europa. Het bevindt zich op het eiland Madeira en is vanaf de zee te zien of te bezoeken vanaf het land om van het fantastische uitzicht te genieten. Deze indrukwekkende klif heeft 580 meter vrije val.
Dit dorp, wiens naam Wild River betekent, ligt in de monding van de gelijknamige rivier, tussen bergen vol met bananenbomen en andere gewassen. Om de reden van de naam "Ribeira Brava" te weten, is het aan te raden om het dorp te bezoeken aan het einde van de herfst of in de winter, wanneer de rivier vol stroomt. Gedurende de rest van het jaar verbergt zijn stille uiterlijk zijn ware aard.

Porto Moniz is een verbazingwekkend kosmopolitisch dorp omdat het zich in het noordelijke uiteinde van Madeira bevindt. U zult enkele verbazingwekkende natuurlijke poelen vinden die zijn vergroot om een gebied van warme baden van zeewater te hebben. De stad Porto Moniz heeft ook interessante plaatsen zoals het Centro de Ciência Viva Centre en het Aquarium van Madeira Aquarium. Nadat je de stad hebt verlaten, gaat de weg omhoog, zigzaggend over de grote helling van de heuvel die het dorp domineert. Hier vindt u twee geweldige uitkijkpunten met een indrukwekkend uitzicht.
Seixal, gelegen tussen Porto Moniz en São Vicente, is een uitstekende plaats om te stoppen als u op de snelweg langs de noordkust van Madeira reist. Vanaf hier kunt u de rotsachtige kust verkennen en een wandeling maken in het dok om de grote kliffen en watervallen te bewonderen die zich aan beide kanten van dit dorpje bevinden.
São Vicente is een dorp gelegen in de monding van Ribeira Grande, bijna verborgen in het gat van een klif, op het eiland Madeira, Portugal. De huizen liggen rondom de kerk en de omgeving is zeer inspirerend met goede cafés, hotels en talloze winkels. De kapel van St. Vincent Chapel ligt op de top van een rots in de monding van de rivier.
Câmara de Lobos is een klein vissersdorpje en gemeente, gelegen in het westen van Madeira, dat een groot deel van zijn aantrekkingskracht te danken heeft aan de kleine vloot vissersboten, geschilderd in rijke kleuren. De vissersboten zijn het grootste deel van de dag op het strand te zien.

BELANGRIJKE MEDEDELING BETREFFENDE OPHALEN EN VERVOER Houd er rekening mee dat ophaalservice beschikbaar is in het centrum van Funchal en in het gebied rondom de belangrijkste toeristenhotels. Sommige gebieden, waaronder voetgangerszones, historische straten in Funchal en locaties met beperkte toegang voor het type vervoer dat wij gebruiken, zijn mogelijk niet geschikt voor directe ophaalservice. Als uw accommodatie zich buiten ons ophaalgebied of in een zone met beperkte toegang bevindt, verzoeken wij u ons uw volledige adres door te geven, zodat we u naar het dichtstbijzijnde beschikbare ontmoetingspunt in Funchal kunnen verwijzen. Onze activiteiten worden doorgaans in groepen van ongeveer 16 deelnemers uitgevoerd. Tijdens drukke periodes kan het type vervoer echter worden aangepast en het aantal deelnemers per groep worden verhoogd, afhankelijk van de beschikbaarheid en logistieke vereisten.

Lineal our guide was brilliant, so passionate about his home, interesting & fun. He drove safely & the other attendees were all so friendly, especially to me as a solo guest. Plenty of interesting places, but sadly due to the dangerous conditions of the sea, I wasn’t able to swim in the sea pools. However, the crashing waves were spectacular. We expected it to be cold in the mountains it wasn't. Lot of great photo opportunities. Never felt we were pushed for time. Renato was an excellent guide, certainly knew everything about Maderia, very very informative. The mini bus was new and very clean, but a bit cramped if you had long legs.

We went on a mini bus, uncomfortable, tight and the air conditioning was never on. The guide was friendly. I do not recommend, I still prefer big buses.

We were picked up at the arranged time. Unfortunately the sound system wasn’t working properly so it was virtually impossible to hear the commentary. We were recommended a lovely restaurant for lunch was great value. The guide and driver were very nice. We saw all the advertised places and had enough time to explore them.

Most memorable: When it was over. The guide didn't engage with guests, didn't introduce himself or encourage interaction. It was a lot of driving and mostly short stops. The seats were uncomfortable and air conditioning didn't work well. It was so unpleasant that we cancelled our tour for the next day fearing it would be more of the same. The driver was skilled at handling the roads but we had the feeling he didn't like his job.
In July, I booked Exorbitant West Tour via TripAdvisor, but I never received any kind of confirmation from the company. I tried to contact them both via TripAdvisor and the WhatsApp number available. On WhatsApp, I received an automatic message saying that they were "absent" and that they would contact me as soon as they could. Needless to say, I never got an answer. In view of this, I canceled the Reservation, but did not receive the refund. I chose this company because of the good reviews, but it is a pity that they treat customers that way.
Beautiful scenery and great to swim in seawaters! Lovely guide Rodriguez but his facts differed to another guide especially in regards to Madeira wine! Kept us chuckling ! Tip after swimming: go to cafe near the drop off much better value than those at the top of the hill and free loos!!
Exmverything about the 2 days, it was spectacular and we had the best driver....a very beautiful island to explore and enjoy...
