Excursie naar kraters op de top van de Etna
Beschrijving
Deze tour stelt je in staat om dicht bij het gebied van de topkraters van de Etna te komen, gekenmerkt door de typische vulkanische activiteit met gas- en zwavelemissies. Met de naturalistische gids gaat u naar de ingang van de Etna kabelbaan en vanaf hier neemt u de kabelbaan die u naar 2500 meter brengt, vanaf daar wordt u per 4×4 bus vervoerd naar een hoogte van 2800 meter. waar je de vulkanologische berggids vindt die je de kraters van de uitbarsting van 2002 laat zien en tegelijkertijd sta je oog in oog met de rokende kraters op de top. Het is ook mogelijk om alleen de optie te kiezen met de klim per kabelbaan tot 2500 meter. Aan het einde van de tour op grote hoogte zal de gids je andere bijzondere elementen van de Etna op lagere hoogten laten zien om je uiteindelijk naar een boerderij in Zafferana Etnea te brengen om de typische producten van de plaats te proeven.

Our Mt Etna Summit excursion was nothing short of phenomenal. Our tour guide , Zelia spoke perfect English and was a knowledgeable and kind guide that shared loads of information from native plant species to geological facts about the volcano and its history.
