Opnieuw toont de Andes-cultuur haar vindingrijkheid en verrast de wereld, een voorbeeld van de Andes-vindingrijkheid is de bouw van de Inca-brug "Q´eswachaka" die momenteel communicatie geeft naar 2 steden, gescheiden door de Apurimac-rivier. De Incabrug van "Q´eswachaka" bevindt zich in de provincie Canas, 3 uur van de stad Cusco Het materiaal dat gebruikt is voor de bouw van de Incabrug van "Q´eswachaka" is ichu, een grassoort uit de hoge Andesgebieden, de jaarlijkse vervanging wordt in de maand juni van elk jaar uitgevoerd door de inwoners van de hoge gemeenschappen . Andes van Ccolla, Qqewe, Huinchiri en Perccaro. De wijziging wordt in 4 dagen aangebracht en tijdens deze wijziging worden Andes-rituelen en typische festiviteiten van het gebied beoefend. We halen je om 05:00 uur op bij je hotel. We zullen ongeveer 2 uur met de auto reizen. Daarna stoppen we in de natuurlijke attractie "cuatro Lagunas" (vier lagunes)
We gaan genieten van een rustig moment in de buurt van de lagunes, foto's maken en vervolgens de kleine Pabellon-vulkaan bezoeken die in de buurt van Yanaoca (een klein dorp) ligt
We gaan verder met de auto tot aan de indrukwekkende Incabrug. Deze hangende Inca-brug is gemaakt van plantaardige vezels (Ichu) en ligt aan de Apurímac-rivier in het Quehue-district. • Het bestaan van deze brug dateert uit de Inca-tijd. Het onderhoud en de renovatie wordt één keer per jaar gedaan door lokale mensen uit de omliggende gemeenschappen. Alvorens te beginnen met de renovatie van de brug, wordt een offer gebracht als teken van respect en dankbaarheid aan Pachamama. We krijgen de gelegenheid om de Inca-brug van beide kanten over te steken. Maar wees voorzichtig, het lijkt gemakkelijk, maar het vergt moed.
• Op de terugweg naar Cusco brengen we een laatste bezoek aan de Inca koloniale brug van Checacupe waar je de verschillen tussen de twee bruggen kunt zien. Deze interessante reis eindigt om ongeveer 17.00 uur in de stad Cusco

Beautiful bridge and mountains, very twisty turny roads about 4 hours from Cusco. Breakfast and lunch were mediocre at best.

I did not know how I was put into a Spanish group when I booked for English tour. The tour guide was not able to speak any English. If I knew this earlier, I wouldn’t have woken up at 4am for this tour. I had to depend two other kind chicas to translate some things to English for me. The journey was long just to see a bridge and a few lagoons. There was a reason why this was not as popular of a tour compared to others. The good thing though was that this was a super chill tour, at times kind of boring. The guide did not seem to be as experience, with little explanation (even in Spanish) and there’s no good time management so we ended up waiting around.
This was a great experience and so much more than expected. I had Roland as a guide. Know that it is a full day but the drive and the additional stops to and from the bridge are broken up wisely. I actually really loved seeing the volcano and the four lagoons and flamingos more than I expected, breakfast and lunch stops were a nice touch, and and of course, the bridge experience and knowledge provided by our guide were top-notch. He provided interpretation in both Spanish and Engligh for the entire group which was all more impressive. Countless breath-taking photo opportunities once you get to the canyon and bridge! Do it, and bring 25 soles extra for entry fees to volcano and bridge portions of the tour.
Really liked the bridge. 4 communities come together each year to rebuild. Our tour guide seemed to really work with the local people helping them tell their stories. Guide also helped me when he learned I was having trouble with the altitude and with some phone issues.. I needed to fix a travel problem.
I had a great experience, the guide explained how this bridge is done every year, I enjoyed seeing the 4 lagoons, it can be seen that the agency cares about providing good service and training its guides.
