Ontdek de prachtige kliffen, baaien en dorpen rond Marseille tijdens deze kustexcursie van een hele dag. Reis vanuit de haven van Marseille langs de prachtige Route des Crêtes en stop om te genieten van het uitzicht over de Côte d'Azur vanaf Kaap Canailles. Verken het dorp Cassis met je gids en stap aan boord van een optionele rondvaart naar de fjorden van de Franse Rivièra. Terug in Marseille kunt u enkele van de beroemdste bezienswaardigheden van de stad bezoeken en leren kennen, waaronder de Basilique Notre Dame de la Garde, met uitzicht op de Vieux Port (oude haven). Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Wacht op uw gids bij de uitgang van het schip / cruise terminal, niet beginnen te lopen in het havengebied. De tour vertrekt vanaf de pier. Zodra u van boord gaat, of er nu een terminalgebouw is of niet, wacht uw lokale gids bij de uitgang met een bord met uw achternaam. De lokale gids zal u begroeten en u naar het vervoer brengen. Dit is belangrijk om de groene lijn op de vloer niet te volgen. Let op: Het is belangrijk dat u niet over het havengebied slentert en gewoon naar de vergaderlocatie gaat.

We had 8 people in our tour with a van as our vehicle. I was in the front with my husband, but had to sit next to the driver which was not really a seat for an adult. It was 1/2 a seat and my legs were cramped up by the gear box. We needed more air but when I turned it up we could not hear the driver. The driver explained some stuff and dropped us first at a church with little explanation. After that we drove to Cassis which was fine but the driver told us we had almosr 3 hours on our own which was far too long in a small town. We then went to the Basilica in Marseilles and had a 1/2 hr there and back to the ship. For $982 Cdn for the 4 of us we found outrageous as we were left alone in Cassis for almost 3 hours on our own. The driver was nice and gave good explanations but the Van should have seated no more than 6 people. A small group experience is supposed to be a benefit not a penalty. All 4 of us were disappointed and would not recommend the tour for the price nor experience. If it has included lunch and the boat tour in Cassis as part of the tour, it would have been a better value for the money.

We had a great small tour. Our itinerary had to be modified because of the Cassis Triathlon. Instead of Cassis we toured Aix-en-province. We were notified before the tour. It was an amazing day, and our tour guide/driver Jeremy was wonderful. I highly recommend this tour group.

Great tour, our guide was very friendly and gave a lot of information. Only disappointment was, we thought our group of 5 would have had our own driver from the description of the tour. We had 3 others with us and 1 spoke a different language so the guide was having to explain in 2 different languages.

I have written many 4-5 Star Viator reviews in my life, this is not one of them. This tour started bad from the beginning as you are provided a meeting point link to follow, after walking a mile to find surprise you are at the wrong place. When frantically trying to reach your guide, you are informed that they are waiting for you by your ship and there is a very small spot located in the bottom of their communication telling you that. Why provide a meeting point link if you’re not meant to follow it ? Once the tour began, our very friendly-nice guide gave us a quick drive by of many beautiful spots in Marseille with many being closed as it is Sunday. We finally reach the Notre Dame Cathedral in Marseille and are told we have one hour of free time. The only problem is Sunday mass is going on so you can’t see inside the cathedral. Knowing we have an hour to kill we find a coffee shop at the Cathedral with some of the rudest servers on the planet. After downing the coffee I went to find the bathrooms to find it takes one euro to enter. Don’t use a coin as it will not let you in, after tapping my credit card I was finally allowed entry. Once leaving the Cathedral we drove to the beautiful seaside village of Cassis and was informed we had 3 hours of free time for lunch and shopping. Who really needs 3 hours? Once our 3 hours was up you are driven back to the port. This has to be the most overrated-overpriced tour that we have ever taken.

For Mass at the basilica, opening hours may indeed coincide with religious services, regardless of our organization. As for the behavior of the café servers and the pay restrooms, these elements, while part of the overall experience, are unfortunately not our responsibility. Well paced tour. Our tour guide Emanuel was excellent. Friendly and knowledgeable. Would suggest in warmer months taking swimming attire for the beach at cassis as there is time to take a swim if you like

The transportation van was difficult to get in and out of for those in the backseat. Our driver/guide did a wonderful job navigating the heavy! traffic in Marseille to get to the sites and providing historical facts. Nice drive to pretty town of Cassis. However, we were there for 2.5 hours, which is much too long, unless you do the boat tour to see the calanques.

The guide was very nice and pleasant, but she was mostly a driver. She didn't lead a tour at two of the three stops and at the stop at Cassi, she left us for 2-1/2 hours. She indicated her operating company would not let her leave the vehicle due to vehicle thefts. There was no tour guidance the entire trip back to the port. The transportation was a 8-passenger van including a middle front seat with virtually no leg room. For the price of $170/person euros, this was not the quality of experience we expected.
