De 1-daagse 7 Lagoons of Ausangate Tour is voor natuurliefhebbers die een vrije dag hebben of bezoekers die in Cusco aankomen. Tijdens deze wandeling zul je de flora en fauna kunnen waarderen tijdens onze reis naar de 7 lagunes van Ausangate en de bergen heilige of heilige Apus. We bezoeken: Azulcocha-lagune, Otorongo-lagune, Oq'ecocha-lagune, Pucacocha-lagune, Pachaspata-lagune, Alqacocha-lagune, Q'omercocha-lagune en het thermale water van de Pacchanta-gemeenschap. Vervoer haalt u op bij uw accommodatie, bij voorkeur binnen het historische centrum van Cusco, en vertrekt vervolgens naar de gemeenschap Pacchanta, gelegen aan de voet van het Ausangate-gebergte, 4.200 meter boven zeeniveau. In deze gemeenschap zullen we een voedzaam ontbijt hebben (ongeveer om 7:30 uur) en diep het Andesgebergte in trekken om de zeven prachtige Ausangate-lagunes te bezoeken. In eerste instantie zullen we 5 tot 6 km wandelen. Bij het bereiken van de eerste lagune voert onze gids een cocabladritueel uit, waarbij je kunt deelnemen aan het ritueel om in gesprek te gaan en een verbinding met Moeder Aarde tot stand te brengen. We vervolgen dit fascinerende avontuur door een bezoek te brengen aan andere lagunes, gelegen in het hart van het Andesgebergte, omringd door prachtige wilde dieren en vegetatie. De wandeling duurt 10 km (ongeveer 5 uur). We keren terug naar de gemeenschap van Pacchanta om te genieten van de warmwaterbronnen en later van onze heerlijke lunch. We keren rond 19:00 uur terug naar Cusco.

Great guide, very attentive with the group
Guide Edson very friendly and attentive
Excellent walk. The tour requires physical preparation, 12 km between rises and descents. There is the option to go on horse, but increases the cost, when I was 120 soles. Food, typical, simple and tasty The guide Edson is very attentive and polite.
The tour operator collected us on time, with great Whatsapp comms. Long but beautiful drive 6 hours round trip. Clean, large vehicle, with Wilson, a safe driver. Alex our guide had excellent English. He explained things well and were very pleased with him. He even lent us cash to pay for horses, as Mrs Google gave a figure 60 soles short. He took us to a cash point machine back in Cusco, so we could get some more Sol and to repay him of course! This is a hard hike, at high altitude. 7.5 miles. Don't underestimate the altitude. We, aged 57, realized we could not make the whole hike, even with a week acclimatizing. Hence, the well cared for horses, for 340 soles, for a couple. So glad we did. The horses got two long breaks one for 30mins and one for an hour or so, while we did the 7 Lakes loop. It is a long day, not helped by the horrendous Cusco traffic, but the views were amazing and well worth the effort.

Excellent walk. The Chullus Travel Agency is very attentive. Remove all doubts first. The tour requires physical preparation to go on foot but there is an option to go on horseback. The guide Pablo, known about Pablo sexy (kkkkkkkk) is very attentive and dedicated.

A very pleasant day at the Seven Lagoons. Beautiful landscapes (still different from the Seven Colors Mountain). Glaciers as a backdrop. Our guide Pablo was very friendly, always ready to inform us and communicate. We enjoyed it.
Alex was an excellent guide. Calm, polite, extremely well-educated. The place had spectacular views.
