De Equator Park Tour neemt je mee naar de meest bezochte toeristische bestemming in Ecuador. Het is een must-bezoek. U kunt ervoor kiezen om de evenaar in de ochtend of middag te bezoeken. Het is gemakkelijk bereikbaar vanuit zowel het stadscentrum als de luchthaven. Bovendien geeft het je iets leuks en interessants om te doen als je wat tijd over hebt terwijl je wacht om 's avonds een vlucht te halen of als je een vrije dag hebt tijdens je reistijd in Ecuador. Equator Park is als geen andere plaats op aarde. Je kunt letterlijk op de equatoriale lijn staan en heen en weer springen van het noordelijke naar het zuidelijke halfrond. Je kunt iemand de typische foto laten nemen die boven op de evenaar staat. Het park is onlangs gerenoveerd en biedt nu heel veel leuke en interessante dingen om te doen op nul breedte.

Vandaag heb je een geweldige halve dag tour. Je wordt opgehaald bij je hotel of de luchthaven van Quito door je lokale tweetalige Gids in comfortabel en privé vervoer. We gaan naar San Antonio de Pichincha waar de evenaar oversteekt. Deze rit duurt ongeveer 45 min tot 1 uur, afhankelijk van het verkeer. Eenmaal aangekomen in het Intiñan Solar Museum betaalt uw Gids de entreegelden en verkent u het Evenaarterrein samen met een deskundige en tweetalige museum Gids. De tour duurt ongeveer 1 uur. Op de terugweg naar Quito of het vliegveld stoppen we bij een Empanada winkeltje waar we genieten van een lekkere empanada en een gezellig praatje maken. Na de empanadas gaan we terug naar je hotel in Quito of het vliegveld.
Optionele stop voor de beste empanadas in Quito op de terugweg van het Evenaarsmuseum. Deze empanadas zijn oh zo lekker en een geweldige manier om de tour te eindigen.

The trip from Quito to the equator is not far, but the chaotic streets of Quito make it necessary to hire a guide to get you there safely and in one piece. Andres did a phenomenal job navigating the way safely and once there had a great time at the museum. I highly recommend Andres as he will get you there safely while learning about Ecuador during your trip.

We want to express our highest recommendation of Andres and the day trip to the equator from Quito. This was a perfect trip for us having a late flight and a day in Quito. Andres was very proactive and reached out to coordinate on what’s app. He is a great guide and really gave us a lot of good information on the way to and from the tour. His car is immaculately clean and he is ready to answer any question. The equator tour was very interesting and provided lots of great info into the indigenous people of Ecuador. On the way back, we had time for lunch and we stopped at a local empanada shop. Couldn’t recommend more of you have a day or afternoon in Quito.
