Deze excursie omvat een meerdaagse route om u kennis te laten maken met en te laten genieten van plekken van bijzondere natuurlijke waarde binnen het Etna-reservaat tot een hoogte van ongeveer 2000 meter. Dankzij de ervaring van onze medewerkers beleef je een interessante en leuke ervaring aan boord van 4x4-voertuigen. We beginnen bij de lavastromen die hele dorpen bedreigden en bezoeken vervolgens de uitgedoofde kraters en het uitzichtpunt over de majestueuze Valle del Bove. Je bezoekt een lavatunnel, uitgerust met een helm en speleologenlampen. De tour wordt afgesloten met een proeverij van Siciliaanse specialiteiten. BELANGRIJKE OPMERKING: Ons ontmoetingspunt in Trecastagni a MontataGrande is per auto bereikbaar. Ophalen is mogelijk in Catania of andere steden. De tour slingert zich door het bezoek van verschillende attracties (minstens 4): de oude en recente lavastromen; de Valle del Bove; het bezoek aan een vulkanische grot met lichten en helmen; loop op de zijkraters op ongeveer 2000 meter.
Panoramische stop in de spectaculaire Valle del Bove, een natuurlijk amfitheater gecreëerd door de ineenstorting van de oude uitbarstende centra van de Etna. Deze etappe mag niet worden uitgevoerd vanuit Taormina. Als alternatief kunt u het door de uitbarsting van 2002 verwoeste skigebied van Piano Provenzana bereiken.
Bezoek deze of een soortgelijke grot met lichten en speleolooghelm om het fascinerende fenomeen van de vorming van lavabuizen te begrijpen. De gidsen helpen je op deze fascinerende natuurlijke plek af te dalen in de meanders van de vulkaan.
Proeverij all'agricoltour MontataGrande met proeverij van Etna en Siciliaanse specialiteiten (wijn, likeuren, olie, honing uit Zafferana, zoete crèmes, zoute pesto, pistache uit Bronte, enz.). Deze etappe vindt alleen met zekerheid plaats vanaf de ontmoetingsplaatsen van Catania of MontataGrande, onder voorbehoud van beschikbaarheid van de locatie.

Wonderful experience. Our guides were so knowledgeable and accommodating for the children and older adults in our group. Our stops on the tour were interesting, engaging and filled with cultural information as well as education of the volcano’s geology itself. If you want to explore Etna and what this volcano truly means to the Sicilian people, do not hesitate to book! A great time had by all!

We had a great experience on this Mt. Etna tour. Luca was an excellent guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and full of interesting information about Mt. Etna and the surrounding area. He was also incredibly helpful when I climbed to one of the craters, making the experience much easier and more enjoyable. His guidance and encouragement were greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this tour, especially if you're lucky enough to have Luca as your guide!
It’s not often that you come across a tour guide as knowledgeable and genuinely engaging as Ciccia. We considered a few other tours, but we’re so glad we chose this one. Being in a small group (we got lucky it was just our family) made a huge difference—we were able to ask questions freely and really hear and absorb the answers. Ciccia’s knowledge of Mount Etna and its history was incredible, and it was clear how passionate he is about what he does. He was kind, welcoming, and truly appreciative of us being there, which made the entire experience feel personal and memorable. Don’t fall for the cheaper big group tours, this is 100% worth it!!
Francesco was an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide about all things Mama Etna. This trip was amazing from the hike to the craters, the inside of the lava tube, and the jeep ride to the lava flow. The tastings and our lunch were an added bonus! This was a highlight of our travels.
Great experience with Oracio, who spoke very good French; he was able to explain the history of Etna well and answered our questions with a touch of humor. We saw the Valley of the Bull, visited a volcanic cave, and climbed a crater. To top it all off, a tasting of various farm products (pistachio/hazelnut creams, flavored oils, chocolate, pestos, liqueurs, etc.) beautifully concluded this visit. Thank you, it was fantastic!
Must-do if you visit Catania! We truly enjoyed out trip to Etna. Our guide Ciccio was amazing and super fun, full of sooo many stories, we learned so much about Mama Etna. Our 5 year-old daughter loved the experience - from climbing Etna, and the lava cave to the 4x4 off-road trip and delicious farm food.
