Uw reis begint met een schilderachtige rit langs de hellingen van de Etna naar het iconische Sapienza Refuge, gelegen op 1.986 meter. Omringd door dramatische vulkanische landschappen, verken je een aantal fascinerende kraters, evenals recente lavavelden van de nieuwste activiteit van de vulkaan. Onder leiding van een gecertificeerde Natuurgids duik je vervolgens in de ondergrondse wereld van een echte lavagrot, uitgerust met een helm en koplamp. Geniet van een ontspannen stop bij een lokale productenwinkel op de vruchtbare hellingen van de Etna. Proef Siciliaanse specialiteiten zoals lokale honing en olijfolie.

Taken up (Mama Etna) by the volcanic Bruna is a very competent person and passionate about her work; the route was done with children aged 8 and 12 up to 2000m, a fantastic experience. Then we went into a small cave And then to a farm where small tastings of various oils, wines, and cheeses are offered. And you can still have lunch with typical Sicilian dishes at fair prices. Very happy with this experience with my family, a huge thank you to the legendary Bruna for her friendliness, energy, and competence. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The experience was amazing and was definetly worth the money. It took us half a day, but everything was greatly planned, so the time flew fast. We are very grateful to our tour guide Giuseppe Barbagallo, who is always very helpful, supportive and has great sense of humour. It was not overcrowded, so we could easily explore it. We had a very great time and the atmosphere in Etna, really reccomend it for everyone, who wishes to visit Etna and it's region.
We had a wonderful morning. Francesco was able to tell us a lot about Etna. Moreover, he chose many paths on-site where there were not too many people, allowing us often to have plenty of time for photos. Highly recommended :)
Our visit to Mount Etna was definitely the highlight of our entire trip to Sicily. We had great weather conditions, and even saw some activity from the peak, making the experience very memorable. There was a little delay at pickup, but the Etna Tribe office was responsive and kept us updated. Thanks to our guide Stefano, who took good care of our small group. He provided excellent information all along, in Italian and English, and played music during our return trip. Everybody in our group opted for the additional cable car and 4X4 trip, which was the best part of the trip. The lava tube is an interesting stop, and the tasting that follows was beautifully arranged. It felt like a relaxed lunch with friends. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we are so glad we chose this trip. We will cherish these memories for a long time.

Excellent! Small group, punctuality, new vehicle and excellent guide. He spoke Spanish with us and also understood Portuguese. The option to climb to the top was very worth it, the guide helped us with the tickets and the queues.. In addition, he accompanied our group throughout the tour, including during the vulcanologist’s explanation of Funivia Etna Park. What could improve is the tasting partner (enoteca della etna), we found very few products and the quantity offered was also small. We highly recommend this tour.
