Verlaat de chaos van Bangkok en ga naar de afbrokkelende paleizen van het oude Siam op een privédagtrip naar Ayutthaya. De stad die op de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO staat, kan een uitdaging zijn om op eigen gelegenheid te bereiken, maar deur-tot-deur vervoer vanuit uw hotel en een rondleiding maken het gemakkelijk om u te verdiepen in de fascinerende Thaise geschiedenis. Door coach: 07:30 uur. Inchecken bij het River City Shopping Complex – Sipraya Pier 08:00 uur. Vertrek vanuit Bangkok met een bus met airconditioning naar de provincie Ayutthaya. 09:15 uur. Aankomst Ayutthaya, de oude stad die op de Werelderfgoedlijst staat. Voormalige hoofdstad van Thailand (B.E.1350 - 1767). Ayutthaya werd op 13 december 1991 uitgeroepen tot UNESCO-werelderfgoed.
Een van de meest verbazingwekkende Boeddha's hoofden in de wortel van de Bodhiboom, het was ook het koninklijke klooster en diende als de residentie van de opperste monnik in de vroege Ayutthaya-periode.
De grootste en belangrijkste tempel in het koninklijk paleiscomplex in Ayutthaya, en het is ook het prototype van het grote paleis en de tempel van de smaragdgroene Boeddha in Bangkok.
Gelegen naast WAT PHRA SRI SANPHET. Er is een groot bronzen Boeddhabeeld dat oorspronkelijk in de open ruimte buiten het koninklijke klooster was verankerd en later door deze kapel werd bedekt.
Er wordt aangenomen dat het in de middelste fase van het Ayutthaya-tijdperk is gebouwd. Er wordt ook aangenomen dat er een pantheon was gebouwd om het Boeddhabeeld te beschermen, maar het pantheon werd vernietigd. Het Boeddhabeeld is vele malen gerenoveerd, vooral in 1954 en 1989 na Christus, totdat het Boeddhabeeld er volkomen mooi uitziet.
Per cruise: 13:00 uur. Welkom aan boord van de Grand Pearl Cruiser in WAT CHONG LOM (provincie Pathum Thani) voor een cruise terug naar Bangkok langs de Chao Praya-rivier. Er wordt een voortreffelijk lunchbuffet geserveerd met een heerlijke verscheidenheid aan oosterse en westerse gerechten. De cruise passeert de Nonthaburi-pier, Koh Kret (de gemeenschap van Mon) en lokale Thaise dorpen. 15:00 uur. Er wordt een koffiepauze geserveerd terwijl u geniet van de betoverende bezienswaardigheden langs de rivieroevers, zoals het koninklijke binnenschiphuis, de Thammasart Universiteit, het Koninklijk Paleis, Wat Arun (Tempel van de Dageraad) enz. 16:00 uur. Aankomst bij het River City Pier-winkelcomplex.

Don't use Viatour, check who runs activity then go to them direct, Eg Viatour confirmed this tour, sent E-ticket, then at 9.00pm night prior got msg from operator saying activity did not run on day booked. (Next day just got msg from Vuatour askkng for review even though cancelled). Cancellation messed our plans up completely and not the first time with Viatour, now use GetYourGuide whenever we can. Operator allowed switch to another day. In the event rated tour 3 out of 5, fairly good coach, ok but not brilliant guide, Boat was absolutely nothing like the one in the picture, buffet was ok at best, to call boat trip "return by biat" a joke, boarding point was 2/3 of way back to Bangkok! Was long enough on boat though
