Het rijden op een elektrische fiets is waarschijnlijk iets wat je nog nooit eerder hebt meegemaakt! Onverharde wegen, zandpaden en een prachtig zacht zandstrand naast de glinsterende Caraïben maken allemaal deel uit van de pittoreske rit op onze elektrische fietstocht rond ons dorp Mahahual. Mocht je besluiten om zelf te gaan trappen tijdens je fietstocht, dan zul je blij zijn te weten dat onze e-bikes zijn uitgerust met gespecialiseerde brede wielen die het gemakkelijk maken om zand en hobbelig terrein te doorkruisen.

When we arrived at the meeting point at Chunky Monkey tours 30 minutes before tour time nobody was there we waited over an hour and no one showed up. We were told by a neighbor business this happens a lot. Refund due.

We had a great experience renting the e-bikes and discovering the island on our own! We even headed to Chunky Monkey and got a free round of tequila shots on the house! Definitely recommend this excursion if you want to comfortably discover the island at your own pace.

We were in Costa Maya on a cruise and the owner showed great hospitality. He took us to his new restaurant called Chunkey Monkey and served us drinks and food. It was amazing!
This was truly an excellent experience! Fernando was our guide and he was so engaging and friendly. My son (18 years old) and I had a fabulous time on the electric bikes, exploring on the beach side pedestrian path and then further along the beach on a quiet dirt road. The electric bikes are awesome because they fit any fitness level. My son turned off the electric portion because he wanted the exercise. I kept the bike on a low level to have a little boost but still get some exercise. It is possible to have it on a high setting and not really pedal at all. Seeing the town from a bike is just a great time. Fernando took us to his restaurant and we had delicious pina coladas. We also had cold water at another stage of our trip. We were with Fernando for the majority of our time and then we had time without him to explore on our own. He let us set the schedule. I highly recommend this experience. Such a highlight!
