Ervaar een dagtocht naar El Yunque Rainforest, het enige tropische regenwoud in het Amerikaanse National Forest-systeem. Wandel weelderige paden, glijd van een natuurlijke waterglijbaan, zwem in verfrissende zwembaden en pauzeer bij een kleine schilderachtige waterval die perfect is voor familiefoto's. Het avontuur eindigt bij de beroemde Luquillo-kiosken aan het strand, waar je tientallen lokale eetgelegenheden vindt. Hoewel de maaltijden niet zijn inbegrepen, raden we de beste restaurants en gerechten aan, zodat u kunt genieten van authentieke Puerto Ricaanse smaken. Las Paylas is een lokale verborgen parel van natuurlijke waterglijbanen aan de rand van El Yunque met watervallen van de Mameyes-rivier, gebeeldhouwde natuurlijke poelen en een grot. Perfect voor sensatiezoekers en voor degenen die van een afstandje van de sfeer willen genieten. Ervaar klifduiken in natuurlijke poelen of ontspan gewoon aan de waterkant.
Leun de rest van de middag achterover met een verfrissing door te zonnen op het strand of duik in meer avontuur door een jetski te huren. Bekijk de zonsondergang en denk terug aan uw meest memorabele dag in het paradijs.
Vervolgens gaan we op culinair avontuur bij Los Kioskos de Luquillo. Deze levendige strook kraampjes aan het strand dompelt je onder in de diverse gastronomie van Puerto Rico. Elke kiosk presenteert een unieke smaak, van sissende vleessoorten tot traditionele mofongo en verfrissende tropische cocktails. The water slide experience is incredible. The transportation was excellent and the tour guide as well. I would have preferred choosing where to est mis frituras.
Yatzel was good guidance in the trip and very helpful. He made the trip adventurous and like the buriqua always said el hangueo was amazing.
My daughter and I enjoyed our visit to El Yunque. The van was clean, transportation was convenient, and our guide, Yatzel, shared interesting information throughout the tour. He also took great photos for us, recommended a tasty lunch spot, and the area had so many eateries to choose from. I thought we’d have more time to explore both the rainforest and the beach, but it depends on how much time you spend at the waterslides, so we only had time to eat near the beach. The waterslides were extremely fun—I would definitely do them again and actually stay there even longer! It’s not a long walk to either slide, but you do need safety tips to navigate them, which he provided along with life vests if you feel you need them. He provided helpful communication prior to the tour as well. Bring the items he recommends (you do not need water shoes). As two women traveling alone, it’s natural to ask questions before getting into a private vehicle, so I would’ve appreciated a more reassuring response before the tour began. Once we started, everything was safe and professional. He also had a lot of recommendations for the rest of our trip that were extremely helpful. Overall, we had a fun, memorable day, and I’d definitely do this again with a few minor changes so we’d have enough time to enjoy the beach, the waterslides, and take plenty of photos.
Yatzel stayed in contact with us prior to pickup which worked out well. Once we started our trip Yatzel gave us background and history about the island which was great. The hike was an easy one and paid off in the end with a refreshing dip in the water. We stopped and the beach after lunch but didnt have a whole lot of time but it was still nice. Overall happy with the trip. We definitely enjoyed ourselves.

Thinking about booking this excursion? A few things to know: - Yatzel is a gem. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and open to sharing as much as you’re interested in knowing. He encourages conversation, questions, and connection. - Wear the correct footwear. It’s in the description. Make it easier on yourself and everyone else by adhering to it. You’re walking on uneven terrain and navigating rocks. It’s not a waterpark. Yatzel gives excellent instructions for navigating the boulders, but you’ve got to do your part, too. - We were looking for a more intimate and small group experience, and we got it. True to his philosophy of the best things to do in life are done in nature, Yatzel gave us plenty of time to hang out and kick around, explore, jump from the rocks and float to our hearts content. It was like spending a day at the river with old friends. - You’re going for great food and a dip in the ocean afterwards. Come with your appetite— incredible Puerto Rican dishes await you, and you should be ready to try a few of them. If there’s a particular dish you’re interested in trying, Yatzel can point you to the best spot for it. Book the trip. Go during the earliest slot to avoid crowds. Get ready to hang out, have an adventure, make a new friend or two, and eat fantastic food!

We booked this tour on a last minute decision. We wanted an experience outside of San Juan and the big tourist spot. Best decision ever!! Yatzel was amazing and took many pics and videos for us! He took us to the perfect spot in the rainforest. The hike was very safe and a BEAUTIFUL nature walk. Experience two natural waterslides and some great places to jump off rocks into the river. We had plenty of time to enjoy our visit (although I could have stayed swimming in the river for a couple more hours :)) Remember to say hi to sweet Luna the dog! Later we stopped by the beach and had some drinks and some of the best food I have ever eaten!(Jibaros) 10/10 I recommend this tour. Thank you for the Hangeo Yatzel! We will definitely treasure this memory! ❤️
